Great accommodation

This is my second stay and hopefully not my last! Perfectly placed to break a long journey Clean cosy and comfortable. Added bonus of being on a working farm for that true Kiwi experience

Great place to stay

This was just an overnight stop for us, but the cottage is spacious enough to be comfortable for an extended stay if exploring the area.

Beautiful cosy bach

Very clean and loved the cosy fire. The kids loved getting outdoors and able to run about country styles. A great stop in between destinations just to break down the travel. Will definitely book again at Beverly Hills

Very nice place, quite and relaxing

Gina and her family were very welcoming, had a good walk around the farm, got heaps to learn. My 7 year old son loved the farm enviroment, it was good learning for him too. Will definately go back there.

Farm stay

Have driven past this area so many times but never stopped, so was lovely to spend some time exploring the area. A large working farm that was interesting to watch from the cottage. Lovely hosts that were happy to chat about farm life. Amazing meal cooked by Tina was a real treat! Thanks for an enjoyable wkd out of the city

Cottage at Ohingaiti

Fantastic hosts, awesome location off main highway on a lovely working farm complete with sheep, cattle and dogs included. Great communication throughout and very lovely dinner meal provided. Lovely and warm with a fire lit for us before we arrived. Definitely be back.

Long weekend stay

A beautiful property in rural NZ. Lovely book showing how the building was transformed from an old shed to the lovely comfortable three bedroom cottage. Stunning morning 180 degree views. Excellent little touches including fresh eggs and fruit. Warm and cozy log fire all up and going for our late of evening arrival. Loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. Thank you for a letting us stay .

Friendly and peaceful

A really nice place to stay. It is in a lovely spot and we found a great restaurant in Taihape. Walks, animals and friendly faces. It is compact but has everything you need for a great stay. We will go back for sure.

Lovely cottage - wonderful host

This was our second time at the farm. Only a short drive from Wellington, it's a great place to stay. The cottage is warm and cosy and the walks in the area are amazing. Thanks for hosting us again, Gina.

Wish we’d stayed longer!

A beautifully appointed cottage on a working farm which was great for our city kids to experience. Friendly accommodating hosts, & dinner was beyond amazing! Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Stunning cottage for those wanting an escape from the hustle and bustle

Wonderful little property. Everything was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Gina met us outside when we arrived and told us about the property and the surrounding areas. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to come back.

Scott and I are working/running his family farm in Ohingaiti. It is such a great area to work, live and raise our young family. We love farm life, spending time at the river (even in winter!) and socialising with family and friends. We have worked and travelled around the world and really enjoy meeting everyone who comes and stays in the cottage.

We are on State Highway 1 which is very handy but it also feels like you have escaped the hustle and bustle of travelling and working! Our cottage is so warm, modern, has everything you will ever need for a stay and if not, we will do what we can to accommodate you. I love to cook too and can provide you with homemade meals on request!
