Perfect house to enjoy Waihi Beach

Booked for a group get-together for New Years and James and Rochelle's home was the perfect house for us. Very well appointed and superbly comfortable. A great spot to explore the area, with the beach only a short walk away. Just as easy to enjoy the house too with a great kitchen, comfortable living-room. Spent hours playing croquet and making the most of the sun with the lovely deck, spa and BBQ.Would love to stay again - they're fantastic hosts!

Everything you need (beach, spa, playground, market)

Great place to stay for big family. Beach is short walk away, school playground right next door where Waihi Saturday markets are held and spa pool for the wet cold days. Perfection!

Top spot in Waihi

We thoroughly enjoyed our family Easter weekend at this great Waihi Beach holiday home. We were 7 adults, a 4 year old and a 1 year old and there was plenty of room for everyone. Great master bedroom with a walk in wardrobe and ensuite that the couple with the little one enjoyed (we will probably fight over who has this room next time we stay) and we particularly loved the spa pool. Spacious living areas with a butlers pantry and separate drinks fridge to store all of our food. The location is 2 blocks back from the beach - a short walk down every day - and we also walked to the markets just next to town on the Sunday. It is also next door to the local primary school so very handy to a playground for the kids. Great communication with Rochelle also. Highly recommend.

Awesome getaway

The house is very spacious and suited our group perfectly. We only had two nights there but would definitely return for a longer stay. It was great having a spa and it was clean. Rochelle was easy to contact.

Awesome place for a large group

We throughly enjoyed our stay with extended family - the weather was not the greatest so the spa and being near a playground saved the day. There is so much space inside and out making it super comfortable for a large group. The hosts are so accomodating and the communication was the best. Thank you!

Amazing house, amazing hosts!

I really enjoyed staying here at James’ and Rochelle’s property. James was available anytime when required and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Highly recommend staying at their gorgeous place!!! ❤️ 10/10

Hoseason group stay

Our stay was for 2 nights to connect 4 generations including family visiting from Australia as well as a day visit from 90 yr old grandparents. An incredibly generous house with perfect indoor and outdoor areas for enjoying peaceful surrounds and afternoon sun. A well set up kitchen and outdoor patio area made our stay Perfect. Sleeping arrangements were more than adequate for our group. This house is positioned well on a quiet cul d sac with a nice distance to Beach, Cafe and town and the kids enjoyed the extra playground areas near the house. Great communication from the owners. This house met our needs perfectly.

Great Hospitality

Can't thank Rochelle enough for adding the little touches for our corporate group staying. The addition this year of a spa pool was well received after long hard days playing golf and fishing. We'll be back.

Perfect spot for family Christmas

We had our family Christmas at this beautiful bach and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Short walk to the beach & shops with plenty of room at the bach for everyone. Thank you Rochelle & James for a lovely stay ☺️

Beautiful stay!

We rented this Bach at very short notice after our Airbnb fell through. A beautiful spot, close to the beach! We loved our stay here, very tidy place.

Large Modern Waihi Bach

Great property, modern and well appointed. Great kitchen. Covered outdoor area, with good barbeque.. Heaps of off street parking. Short walk to the beach (2 blocks). Worked well for extended family group, 7 adults and 2 kids.

Lovely spacious modern home, great location, close to the beach

Rochelle is a good communicator and provides you with all the info you need to know for your stay. We were a group of friends staying at the property over the new year period and the house was perfect for our needs and never felt cramped. Downfall would be no wifi available at the property but there is plenty nearby. It is in a great location - The beach is less than a 5 min walk away, flatwhite cafe also similar walking time. Waihi hotel/pub 10min walk away. Thanks for having us stay at your property, would recommened staying here for groups or large families.

Lovely, relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful time here in Waihi Beach. Booked last minute for 10 people including kids, was the perfect location & setting. We took our own BBQ (note - there is one provided at the house, we just had ours for a beach trip the next day) and a croquet set and had a game on the lawn out the back next to the creek with the sun setting and BBQ sizzling. Rochelle's communication was great. My only criticism would be the cleanliness but having said that we did book last minute and other than that it was a fantastic stay. Thank you.

Amazing house, great location - photos dont really do it justice.

Very well appointed & luxurious - lovely modern styling. Massive kitchen with double oven and large wine fridge. All the beds very comfortable and bathrooms of high standard - lots of space. Owners are friendly and very helpful. Spent most of our time on the outside deck which has a beautiful northern aspect. Easy walk to the beach - really safe beach and great for all types of boarding. Flat White Cafe/ Restaurant ( 10 mins walk) is a Waihi Beach asset - great food / coffee / or a cheeky wine or two... Also recommend the restaurant in the Waihi Beach pub - beautiful food and cool styling, The Porch and Strata for food / coffee and The Beach Treats for great Kiwiana gifts. Whats not to love about Waihi Beach?
