Awesome stay! Great instructions to find and park and access.. Great communication when we needed something minor, we got it 15mins which was amazing.. Views were outstanding outside.. Inside, it literally has everything you could possibly need that made you feel you were at home.. We would 100% definitely recommend..

Fabulous views of the mountains that take your breath away, especially from the master bedroom. We were a group of 6 and appreciated the keyless door entry with a code. Everything was clean and spotless and easy living. Great location and walking distance to town and all the action. Would stay again!

Great all round

Prefect location for either getting into town on foot or with a car. Undercover parking which makes it easy in winter! Very clean, warm and large bedrooms and bathrooms made it a very comfortable stay.All amenities were appreciated especially having kids staying too. The view is the bonus!

Warm and cosy - Edgar Rise epitomises excellence in accommodation. We loved our time here. Spacious and clean, with an indoor & outdoor fireplace to sit around at night making it the perfect finish to a long day on the slopes. Our host, Dawn was very communicative and friendly. We won’t hesitate to come back.

Beautiful View Perfectly Located

My husband and I just spent 4 nights with my sister and Brother in law in Queenstown in this lovely home. Spotlessly clean, perfect location for all our adventures and Dawn was great in making sure we had everything we needed. We had rented a car and appreciated the ease of parking and getting around. Definitely reccomend

Excellent

Truly a top rental. Great communication with hostess, fully stocked kitchen with nice appliances, washer and dryer. Most importantly the apartment was stocked with all the essentials like, soaps, tp, spices, etc. The rental manual is well done with clear instructions, manuals, and detailed restaurant recommendations. Very clean and large and comfortable rooms and bathrooms.The view from the very large deck are truly impressive looking down to the CBD and the lake. 10 minute walk gets you into the heart of the action. Please note there are a couple of steep roads walking down to CBD so if not active consider Uber or taxi for a quick ride. We walked but there were plenty of taxis all over so shouldn't be any issue if that's your preference or need. Either way, the views are worth it!!! Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful location, steep but short walk into town, Awesome views

Located in a nicely private area, the apartment is located close to garage for pretty easy access. Property manager was responsive and easy to work with. The views from the spacious outside patio were stunning. The weather didn't cooperate when we were there, if it had been sunnier, we would have spent more time in that outdoor area! The walk to town is short, but it is steep, so if you plan to walk around, make sure you can handle the uphill return!! Only complaint was the hard pillows, bed in Primary could use a better mattress. But overall a great place to stay in Queenstown!

Perfect View of the City

Gorgeous home, Conveniently located close to town. Hilly for walking but we enjoyed walking the hills especially because the food and wine is fantastic and we needed to burn off excesses! No need for a car, uber is available as our multiple tours.We are age 70 women and loved it!

Perfect location for active travelers

Wonderful location with commanding views. Short walk to to Queenstown down and up steep hills. Walk down, 10 - 15 minutes, and Uber back up to the flat. Parking is convenient in adjacent parking structure (mere feet from flat) but not required for immediate access to Queenstown area. Met my every expectation.

Enjoyed our stay in Queenstown. Loved the Balcony that had a beautiful view of the Lake. There was a parkade for the car. Walkable distance to downtown. Took an Uber back since it is up the hill. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay in this property, clean and has all the things you would normally need in a well furnished apartment and best of all the helpfulness and quick response from the property host Dawn. The property is in a nice and safe neighborhood, walkable to queenstown CBD. If we have to nit pick, we wish we do not have to walk down the steep slope from the apartment to the town center. For a person with a knee injury it was not so easy.

What a fabulous place

Great undercover parking, beautiful unit, decent kitchen, lovely views of the Gondola and hill from the living area and terrace and lake from the master bedroom and terrace, and all within walking distance of the town centre. Hard to fault this place. Fantastic host.

Perfect family holiday

The communication with the owner was 5 star from the moment we booked, the apartment is very spacious, with 2 large bathrooms, incredibly clean, and has stunning views over Queenstown & the gondola side from the main bedroom, living room/ kitchen. The location is walking distance into town, but only if you don’t mind a steep slope, given my husband has bad knees we opted to do a short 1 minute drive into town. I personally loved the walk! If you want views, a very spacious apartment, mod cons & location, this is the one for you. I’ve already recommended this great apartment to friends heading to Queenstown. Our family had an amazing trip and loved our stay at Edgars Rise. Until next time Queenstown

beautiful accommodation

Advertisement was spot on. Property was beautiful and description was as advertised. Close to town with only 1 hill walking back. great balcony overlooking lake. Had BBQ and heater on balcony. Very well appointed with comfy lounge and large bedrooms. Check in process was a little confusing with dummy key box on entry. We were not aware of electronic code on door. Took us a while figure it out in the dark. But once we did everything was perfect. Just a rooky error by us. Otherwise stay and property was great. Comms with the property host/manager was good. Would recommend and definitely stay again. Thanks Dawn

Top Notch Accommodation

Edgar Rise was perfect for our travelling group. The accommodation is cosy, well equipped, clean and spacious. Its proximity to town is handy and the views are excellent. We could not have asked for any more from the place. In addition, Dawn was a wonderful host with excellent communication and she did everything she could to make us feel welcome and comfortable, including allowing us to check out late as we had later flights. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Queenstown and will keep it in mind for future travels to this beautiful part of the world.

Very Impressed

When we walked in the front door we were instantly impressed with the accommodation. It was very comfortable, spacious, clean and new and in a great location with an awesome view. Going in May, the weather was cold but the inside gas fire made it feel very warm and cosy. The hosts too, were great with communication and easily contactable. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to others.
