We’re a family of five living in East Melbourne, and one of our favourite things to do is escape to our beach house in Loch Sport whenever we get the chance. There’s something magical about that place, with the sound of the water and the peaceful surroundings—it instantly makes us feel relaxed. We always bring our dog, Lexi, who loves running along the shore while the kids explore. One of the highlights of our trips is taking the boat out on the lake. We all get so excited to hop in and speed across the water, especially when we hook up the tube and take the kids for a spin. They can’t get enough of the thrill of bouncing over the waves! It’s our perfect way to spend time together, laughing and enjoying the outdoors, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

There’s something so special about Loch Sport in Victoria that keeps us coming back. I love how quiet and peaceful it is, with the lake on one side and the Ninety Mile Beach on the other. Waking up to the sound of birds and the gentle lapping of the water is pure bliss. The lake is perfect for boating, and one of my favourite things is taking the boat out early in the morning when the water is calm, almost glass-like. The kids love tubing behind the boat, laughing and bouncing along the waves. In the evenings, we often sit by the shore, watching the sunset paint the sky in shades of pink and orange. It’s a place where we can completely unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature, far from the city. The mix of lake and ocean, the fresh air, and the laid-back vibe make it our little haven.

What makes our property at Loch Sport really unique is how perfectly it’s set up for both fun and peace of mind. It’s fully enclosed with high fencing and an electric gate, so we never have to worry about the kids or our dog, Lexi , wandering off. There’s heaps of grass for them to run around and play, which is perfect for family games or just letting the kids burn off energy. It is like we’ve got our own little private retreat where everyone can relax and have fun, all within a secure, spacious space.
