Absolutely Perfect

I stayed here for 2 weeks and during that time had various friends and family members visit. The location, the physical house, the amenities, the host, and the neighbors are all fantastic. From the towels and bedding to the paddle boards and kayaks, everything exceeded my expectations. The dogs who joined us were also happy during their entire stay. Thank you, Chris, for helping make my family’s time in Minnesota so great!!! 10 out of 10 from us all.

Can’t control the weather

Very spacious house in a nice location. The beach was nice. Only downside was we didn’t have the best week of weather at the lake but there’s nothing you can do about that. Communication was good and lots of things provided (towels, fully stocked kitchen, laundry etc.) which was great.

Wonderful Lake Home

This is a wonderful home on the lake. The owner, Chris, is just as fabulous as this home. Bedrooms are all spacious and very clean, the entire home is so welcoming and comfortable. The view of the lake is very relaxing, highly recommend this home.

Great Family Lake Get Together

We had a great week at the lake house with my sister and her family. The home was perfect for our 2 families. The kids enjoyed the sandy beach and extended shallow playing area in the lake. They also caught many fish of various types, learning from their uncle all week. Chris was very responsive and helpful to me and my sister, aiding us very quickly when we needed an additional paddle for the kayak or questions around the deck or boat dock. I would highly recommend this home to families for a fun summer week!

Fantastic Overall!

Our large group found something for everyone. This property worked great for our age spread (1 years old to 70 years young). The kids were able to have their freedom in the shop, while the rest of us could relax by the beach. Chris is a great host and communicator. We were supplied with everything we needed, plus some. The personal touches and extras were above and beyond what we have seen at other rentals in the area. He made the effort to follow up several times to make sure we didn't need anything else. Location is close to Perham and Ottertail. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to meet some great neighbors! Before we ended our week, we knew we wanted to come back next year! Excited for 2024.

Something for everyone, infant to 73 yrs of age!

We loved that each family had a room where you could close the door. The kitchen was perfect for a large crowd and the outdoor space, amazing! Even the neighbors were friendly and welcoming. Chris provided literally everything we would need for our stay and asked if there was anything more he could do to make our stay even better. We had a blast, even when we had a day of rainy weather. We just all hung out in the shop and played ping pong, pool, shot hoops and even broke a pinata in there! Oh, we also had 3 dogs among us and the space worked out perfectly for them also. We would definitely love to return.

Very satisfied

Everything was amazing-the property was newly remodeled, new tiled showers were very nice! Plenty of room for everyone plus kids could play games basketball,ping-pong etc in the large garage when the weather was too cool to be in the water. House is right on the water which was nice. Host was very accommodating and went above and beyond expectations. Definitely recommend!!
