Our host was very responsive to our questions and thorough with information about the house and neighborhood resources. The house is ideal for families with plenty of space, great pool and spa, fun games for family play. It is a very well equipped kitchen including plastic ware for poolside dining and nicer tableware for a special dinner. The neighborhood is quiet but walkable to town. No complaints at all! We had a fantastic week even with some poor weather days.

Family Vacation!

We had a great time at this residence. The check in was super easy and the owner was very communicative. The separate casita's worked out well for our family. Great pool & hot tub with nice mountain views.

Our family had a great week vacation, swimming, playing chess, was great on the big board, ping pong tournaments, and great walks around the neighbourhood, my family loved it. Many movie stars lived in the neighborhood, back in the day

Amazing Pam Springs property

This home is magical! The view of the mountains is exceptional from the pool area. The home is beautiful and well stocked with everything you could need. The location is excellent for walking to shops and restaurants but the pool area was so amazing that we all hated to leave. Neighborhood was fun for walking also. The management staff was so helpful, accommodating and accessible. We will definitely stay here again.

When we arrived in Palm Springs for the first time we were intoxicated by the spectacular mountains with snow peaks, the endless blue skies and the stately palm trees in this secluded desert oasis in the Coachella Valley. Most remarkable was the amazing hospitality and creativity of the people. We wanted to be part of this.

Landing at the Palm Springs airport is one of the best travel experiences. Within minutes you are off the plane and walking in sunshine, surrounded by the breathtaking geological reality of the Coachella Valley and its embracing local hospitality. You know you are somewhere special because the famous midcentury modern architecture immediately captures your attention. Every turn of your head reveals a new Instagramable moment. This is why it has inspired endless artists, musicians, adventurers and creatives. There is an energy that comes from the landscape that is palpable.

The more time we spent in the Coachella Valley the less we wanted to leave. We were fortunate to find the secluded BigBoyEstate (the founder of BigBoy Burgers) in Palm Springs, nestled in Vistas Las Palmas. This area of magnificent mid century modern homes designed by, lived in and partied in, by many past and present celebrities, include Dinah Shore’s home now owned by Leonardo DiCaprio, Kurt Douglas, Elvis & Priscilla Presley, Liberace, Batman, Frank Sinatra, to name just a few.

The BigBoyEstate is designed by top mid-century modern architect William Krisel and built by the Alexander Construction Company. It has all of the classic mid-century modern architectural and design features that allow living in this house to seamlessly blend with the outdoors. The walled, mature garden is meticulously designed to provide a place to relax under blue skies, set against the stunning San Jacinto Mountains.

Palm Springs has a unique legacy that is not found anywhere else in the world. Shaped by geologic forces that stretch back millennium, the spectacular San Jacinto Mountains, soaring to 10,000 feet provide a stunning backdrop to the palm filled desert valley. The desert climate is dry, with cool evenings and mornings. Many people are choosing to make the Coachella Valley their permanent home. The weather is perfect between mid September and late May. This property can easily accommodate 12 people with generous space. You can hear bird songs in the morning and sip cooling drinks around the pool while you plan any number of adventures just beyond the door. The staff has been with the property for years and takes immense pride in keeping it perfect order. Linens or professionally laundered, housekeeping, landscape and pool maintenance are meticulous. Things are continuously attended to and refreshed. We treat our guests with meticulous attention and leave them their privacy to enjoy their vacation.
