Welcome to Rutter Family Retreat! A relaxing and cozy single-story home nestled in the pines and packed with essentials and comforts from home to provide the perfect setting for a family vacation or getaway with friends to the mountains. Located just ten minutes by car to the ski resorts, grocery stores, lake activities, and the Village shops, this adorable retreat offers a great location no matter the season you choose to visit.
Boasting three spacious sleeping quarters when you are ready for a great night of rest including a primary suite and additional guest bath, there is plenty of room for each member of your party to find serenity and peace here. Snuggle up on the comfy couch together and warm your toes in front of the fire as you pop on a movie and watch the snow falling outside. The open floor plan is perfect for entertaining and leads right to the equipped kitchen and dining area, complete with cookware, utensils, and general appliances for your home cooked meals.
Step outside from the patio slider off the bedroom where you can be at one with nature in this ultra relaxing alpine environment with a massive, wrapped sun deck for your enjoyment including patio furnishings and a propane BBQ grill. No Early Arrival/Late Departure During Peak Seasons or Holidays.
There is No Street Parking Allowed in Big Bear- Make Every Attempt to Get Cars Off the Street for Snowplows. November thru April the law requires snow chains in your cars.
Pet Policy-Pet Friendly Homes Only-$40/Pet/Night
Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.
All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.
No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.
No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.
This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.
We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
