Out of the way rustic stay

The property is rustic and missing a few bits and pieces but has a nice view. Its very close to Joggins museum which gives acces to the rocky beach and great photo opportunities.The weather was sometimes chilly and windy but the cottage was not drafty and it was quite warm. I would like to have seen a bit more attention to kitchen supplies such as cutlery. Some botled water is supplied which is nice. You'll want to bring some extra if you are not used to country water. There is enough room for luggage but, at the time of our visit, there was limited space to unpack or hang items. We do overpack so we made do by arranging our packing cubes. This may change if hooks, dressers or wardrobes are added.
We had a fair amount of wildlife visit during our stay.
Joggins beach walk when tide is lower. Excellent for views, rock and fossil exploration. Guided tours available at the museum.

Solo escape with my dog

Beautiful house on the hill overlooking the ocean. Exactly as promised was perfect for my dog and I. Walked down to joggins cliffseveryday as well as 4-minute drive seal Cove in search of Beach glass and interesting rocks. Did a day trip down to advocate harbor and greville Beach. A little remote but that's what I was looking for.

My mother and I rented this space for a week in June and I can only highly recommend the experience - the view alone is spectacular, but the house itself is clean, well furnished and comfortable.Our hosts also went the extra mile to personally deliver extra bedding to us! We are super appreciative of their care and attention to detail.Additionally, you can find several flyers for local attractions and restaurants, which was really helpful for us in deciding what to do.I do recommend stocking up on some groceries before heading over - Joggins is somewhat off the beaten track and for your convenience, arriving with snacks may be helpful. That being said, it’s not so far from shopping that you can’t get places easily enough, and driving in the area can be a fun way to see the scenery.Whether you are looking to sightsee, or simply relax, this location gives you a chance to experience it all. :)

Beautiful and calm escape!

The property is as described in the listing, and the beautiful sunsets over the Bay of Fundy didn't disappoint! The cabin is super clean and has all the essentials for a nice and comfortable stay. The location is somewhat off the beaten path, so guests should arrive with ample food supplies.

Great place to relax

Beautiful view and close to the beach. Place was very clean and had a great stay. Recommend to anyone staying in the area.
