Super spacious. Super clean. Great for large groups. (We were 5 couples). Each room is large and has its own bathroom. Large kitchen and gathering areas. Porch and grounds are great. Close enough to Alma. 2nd time here and will be back again.

We rented the home for a week, and were a group of 11. Loved the bedrooms/ensuite bathroom set up, the overall size of the home and the quiet location. There was room for everyone. The pool table was very popular. We did lots of fishing at the dock as well. Everything was in good condition and we had everything we needed to have a great week. Would have loved a comfortable couch or seating area for the rainy day, but overall we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!

Contact with the host was easy; they answered all our questions and arrival was smooth. You feel welcome and at home. This property used to be a Inn, therefore, the place is huge; the house/equipment are not new, but everything is functionnal. There are 6 bedrooms with private bathroom (bring your own toiletries), lovely common areas with a vintage charm : dining room, living room and game /tv room downstair. The kichen is very well equiped. The large balcony with a beautiful and serene view ( flowers, lake...) is great; there is a gaz fireplace and a BBQ which are lovely, and boats available for the guests. Location is perfect for visiting the area. The only reason with didn't give 5 stars is the cleanliness that could be improved. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay (group of 8 adults)

Went with a group of friends on a 4wheeling trip down there and everyone had an amazing time! The pictures dont do it justice to how beautiful the property was.I would recommend.

Beautiful property

We were a musical ensemble performing at Harvey Hall. The location and property were perfect for us (7 people). Clyde was very nice and interesting. We would definitely stay here again!

Hiking group

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful rural property. It was very comfortable for a large group. We ate a dinner at broaleaf ranch and we hiked infundy park and the New Horton area. We enjoyed visiting a couple of craft stores nearby

Great property and owners very helpful

Our extended family stayed at the property for 2 nights recently. It is a beautiful property and plenty of space and rooms for all of us and very convenient. Clyde was very helpful with all the house and local information and helped us get to a place for dinner when we checked in pretty late on our first night. Great views of the lake and the well kept property. Our family really enjoyed the stay at the Lakeview Inn.

My family of 20 road tripped from Ontario to New Brunswick, and stayed at this beautiful cottage from July 6th to the 10th, 2026. First of all, the photos do not do justice to how gorgeous the cottage actually is, inside and outside. The property was clean and well-maintained. The kids (and adults) thoroughly enjoyed spending time outside hanging out and fishing at the dock. The inside was cozy and fit our family perfectly. It's a gorgeous cottage with an amazing history. We had the chance to learn more about Clyde's family and their contribution to New Brunswick from Clyde himself. Clyde was extremely kind and accommodating, and was easy to reach when needed. I read another review before we stayed here about the mosquitoes being intolerable. There were mosquitoes but with bug spray and citronella incense outside, they weren't too much of a bother. Mosquitoes are expected close to water and in the country anyway. Overall, it was a beautiful stay and we hope we have the opportunity to stay here again if we ever visit NB in the future. Thanks to Clyde for making our trip possible!

The happiest time in 2023

We got to know this place by chance and stayed for 3 days. The landlord was so nice and the house was much cleaner and warmer than we thought and there was no inconvenience at all. We loved this place so much and want to visit again afterwards. To be honest, I don't want to let anyone know. It's such a nice place that we only want to know. However, it's a place we really want to recommend because we don't want to be the only ones to know such a good place. I was grateful and happy.

Family Milestone Birthday

We had a great time here. Lots of room and things to do. Pool table, poker/card table, chess table as well as a piano. The lake is very close and the use of paddle boat, kayak and canoe were a big hit! 4 bedrooms up top, 2 have two dbl/queen beds and two have one queen. 1 large wheel chair accessible bedroom on main floor with queen bed. Basement has one dbl beds, and two pull out couches. Plus 2 single cots so room for over 20! Was a fun time! The kitchen stoves (2 of them) are gas powered.

Large, comfortable home

Great for 7-10 people with a large, well equipped kitchen and dining room and a bathroom for every bedroom. Basement room with pool table was nice. Canoes are available for the lake, and we did catch some bass. We came from Florida to see the local attractions related to the Bay of Fundy, parks, beaches that are a lot different than Florida beaches, and kayaking. We were surprised at the great quality of the restaurants in Alma and Cape Emrage. The owner lives nearby and was very helpful regarding the attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. He also gave us great weather.
