We were extremely disappointed with this property. Cleanliness was extremely poor and there were extensive maintenance issues - some of them were hazardous and I don’t believe this should have been available for rent. Apparently there had been a flood in the unit recently meaning the floorboards were loose and popping up in several areas creating a tripping hazard. Towel rails falling off, loose toilet roll holders and toilet seats, no working lights or air conditioning in 1 of the bedrooms, leaking shower, blinds were falling apart in every room meaning they couldn’t be closed properly, furniture that was rusted and falling apart, large amounts of black mould and peeling paint through the unit (particularly in the bathrooms), large amounts of dust and debris under the beds and sinks (including old socks) as well as a cockroach in the cutlery drawer. There is no extra bedding and the pillows are old there is virtually no filling in them. The management company was responsive to our concerns this is major work and while we did allow a repairman into the property while we were there but he couldn’t get most of the issues resolved and it became a massive disruption for us as well as having strangers in the property during our stay. It’s disappointing as they were aware of these issues and didn’t tell us prior to our stay - had we known we definitely wouldn’t have booked this property. Beware if you are planning to rent this unit!
