この施設について

The GREEN Tiny House

Property is a 100% fully rehabbed 1940 colonial style homestead. We made every effort to keep or reuse all the materials we could, to minimize the waste that ends up in the landfill.

We used modern construction materials and techniques to make these units super efficient with the least long-term carbon footprint.

There is a Kitchenette microwave & mini fridge. NO STOVE

BIKES!!! There are two B-Cycle bike rental spots close by. Grab tacos, local shaved ice or one of the breweries, checkout UofH campus or the new EADO area.

GOLF CART!!! Private tours of the neighborhood sights, breweries, local restaurants & bar drop offs available. Message for inquiries.

There is also a great common area outside that everyone is welcome to use.

Eastwood is super close to EADO, downtown, University of Houston, midtown and clear lake is only 20ish mins away

Super easy to get around. Uber, metro rail, bus central station. etc. Please GPS for exact locations.

Eastwood is known for it’s epic bike rides through all the giant oak tree lined streets...and usually to get fresh made tacos

Small dogs are ok for short-term stays. Larger dogs and long-term stays are negotiable. Just message me to discuss in more detail.

The unit inside is wheelchair / handicap accessible with no stairs or other obstacles...however there are small rocks covering the backyard area. If these will be a problem, please message me directly and we can discuss possible options to accommodate you.

Cozy and comfortable

The property is just perfect for a couple stay. The place is ideally located very close to downtown and amenities are well maintained. I would highly recommend this place!

great for proximity and convenience to convention center, quiet neighborhood check-in was not clear: no check-in information was sent or available via the app and had to wait in car after arriving to get the access code, but host responded as soon as they were able to clean but bare bones and not very comfortable (both chairs and bed felt as if they might break) low price point

Nice place that is in-between the George R. Brown Convention Center and Hobby International (HOU). The Metro Bus line 40 route runs from downtown to this location and goes all the way to the airport so logistically, it is centrally located. No bedbugs or roaches or mice. Good if you just need a place to sleep at for the night. The app was not working for check in instructions, so just double check with host ahead of time for check in instructions and password. Host was responsive, replied same day.

Location location location

This rental was super convenient to Downtown, EADO, and all spots inside of the loop. The neighborhood is cute and quiet. The rental itself was pretty bare bones, but had everything I needed for a few days. I did not receive an email with check-in instructions, so there was some back and forth with Eddie, but we got it figured out quickly. As a woman traveling alone, I felt perfectly safe.

Nice & Cozy

10 out of 10 I recommend!!!! The host was great with communication. I came for a comedy show that ended up being cancelled. So I just relaxed, stayed in and ordered doordash!!! It was actually a perfect mini vacation.

Comfortable place

Everything was great we had some trouble in the beginning, no fault of mr Eddie's the power was off the first few days due to a storm so we was not able to stay there. After the power came on mr Eddie emailed me right away and let me know. But the place itself was great my only worry was parking, the ad said on site parking but once i got there we had to park on the road which made me nervous because it was a rental. That is the only bad thing we found.

This was a perfect property for what we needed. We were in for a conference at the George Brown Convention Center. It was very close, and you were able to avoid the heavy traffic to and fro. The host was very gracious. He had wonderful recommendations, and was quick to return messages. There was a slight issue that was not really under his control, but he resolved it by our last day. He would have handled it sooner, but he was out of town. Thankfully it wasn't a big issue. Things to think about before you go: bring your own pillow, he has two there, but they are not fluffy... if you like that. Bring towels for the bathroom. Again, there were towels, but if you are staying more than one day, I would bring your own. There is a microwave, but no stove.. so if you want to cut your food cost, make sure to bring something you can microwave. All in all, great stay, and we will definitely be back!

Nice Spot for a Short Stay

Check In: we had a bit of a communication issue at the start which made me a bit anxious as I was about to board a plane, unsure if I would be arriving with a place to stay. However, the host was helpful in resolving the issue and everything worked out.Location: great little neighborhood with trees and sidewalks and lots of street parking.The house: very cute tiny house with a functional layout. Generally it was reasonably clean. However, it seems in need of a few minor repairs/updates and maybe some deep cleaning. The bathroom door is a bit sticky and hard to move, there are some minor finishes that are missing, there are cobwebs and dust in corners and the loft space, and the shower has mold around the bottom of the door. The linens were thin but clean. There were teas and coffee provided, as well as a functionally equipped kitchenette (sink, dishes, utensils, cups, microwave). The bed and nightstands were nicely set up with lots of outlets available for charging devices.Overall, it was a fine spot to stay for a long weekend conference, particularly due to the location and price!

This place was great and the location was nice and near the highway for easy access to the city. We were very happy that the owner allowed our mini heeler mix. Clean and cozy. Thank you for the stay.

The best rest

Eddie was so kind and friendly. He gave me a tour of the area upon arriving and let me know he built the place himself which- props to him, he did a great job! Although, I was a bit disappointed at first that I wouldn’t be able to swim, he made sure to offer a full refund which was super considerate. Overall, my experience was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable, the house was cool (temp wise) and the shower was nifty as well. I was told a few guests in his other rental stole some pillows... just don’t do that. Not cool. Eddie had to buy a few to replace and that was just not something he should’ve had to do, you know? Sheesh... Let’s just all agree to keep the pillows where they are. Alright?! That’s all I have to say. Just be decent, you know?
