The Space:
The property is up one level above the garages and has a good sized open plan kitchen, living, dining area with a small hallway leading to the two bedrooms and bathroom. The separate laundry with washer/dryer and tub is accessed downstairs beside the clothesline - ideal in full sun! (laundry is accessed from outside - no internal access).
This property is an original period house in Ponsonby. This does mean that the floors are a bit uneven however they are safe and secure.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire property and one carpark on the driveway.
Your car must be parked sideways (parallel) to the two left hand garages. Please do not block the garage on the right hand side and do not park over the footpath.
Street parking is residents permit only (during certain hours) - so will not be available to guests during this period.
The Neighborhood:
Ponsonby road is a 2 minute walk from the house. Ponsonby is one of Auckland's main hospitality areas, with multitudes of restaurants and bars and boutique shops, and supermarkets. In the other direction is Grey Lynn with boutique wine bars and top restaurants. There are 2 large parks - Grey Lynn park and Western Park within 5 -10 minute walk.
Although Ponsonby road is busy and lively, Norfolk street is quiet and very local feeling, with friendly neighbours.
It’s a short walk to the CBD - 20mins, Victoria Park and Wynyard Quarter.
Buses on Ponsonby Road and Richmond road will take you to the city, Parnell, K'Road, Hospital, Auckland Domain and to Newmarket for the large new Westfield mall. Pretty much anywhere is accessible from here by public transport.

Other Things to Note:
- No parties allowed.
- This is a smoke free property.
- CHECK OUT: Check-out is at 10 am. If you have not vacated the property by this time and our cleaners are delayed you will be charged a fee of $100 + GST for every half hour you remain in the property.
- NO VISITORS: This means only the exact guests booked to stay can be at the property at any time. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in immediate removal from the property, and all associated costs will be charged to you. If you wish to have guests visit while you are at the property please contact us before your booking so we can provide case-by-case approval.s.
- ADDITIONAL CLEANING: If you are booking for longer than two weeks, the owner requires a clean at least every two-week period. We will send this amended cleaning charge once we receive your booking.
- QUIET HOURS: Please be considerate of our neighbours - no loud noises between 8pm - 7am. Neighbours can call a hotline regarding excessive noise. If the property managers must attend due to excessive noise there is a $250 + GST fee.
- MISSING KEYS: If you lose a key / swipe card a replacement fee of $100 + GST will be charged.
- LOCKOUTS: If you lock yourself out of the property and a property manager has to attend to provide additional keys there will be a call out fee of $250 + GST charged.
- PETS: Approved on a case-by-case basis.
