Happy to announce this convenience for Tesla owners!

This getaway vacation spot is a one-level retreat including a private pool and hot tub.

Lakeside Alcove Getaway includes a kitchenette with a wine fridge, full-size fridge, ample appliances for cooking along with a microwave, bar seating, and an informal eating area. There is one private bedroom, one full bathroom, a bunk room consisting of four beds (two twins/two doubles), an oversized family room with excellent views of the lake and your own private patio pool lounge area. The patio area includes a BBQ grill.

From this house, it takes about ten-minutes to walk to town. It would take about a minute by car to drive to Slide Waters Family Water Park, all the jet-ski and boat rentals and the Lady of the Lake tour boat. There is private lake access with this home, a private buoy, and two small beach areas which are a two-minute walk across the street.

There are two parking spots on the daylight basement level.

This is a great property in a fantastic location, close to downtown and the water park. It had great views of the lake and the pool was great (not very big but perfect for cooling off and kids to have fun). The property was very clean and comfortably furnished, and the host Carol had great communication and was very helpful. Also it had easy check in/check out procedures. The air conditioning worked great and helped relieve the fire smoke from outside. There is some noise from the road when you are on the patio but you can't hear it from the bedroom at night. Overall great experience, thank you!

Great family home

We loved this house and Carol was amazing and responsive. Our kids lovdd the pool, the view can't be beat, and the property was clean and perfectly equipped for our needs.

Perfect summer vacation

Wonderful host and beautiful property! Can’t beat the view and the kids loved the pool. Close to everything and the Tesla charger was a nice bonus! Will be back!

Fantastic Stay

Our family enjoyed our time immensely at this home. It is in a great location - close to all amenities of the city and recreational activities. It has a beautiful view of the lake and we loved to have our own private pool to spend time in with our family. It was a wonderful place to say, a blessing for our family, and we will recommend it to others!

Beautiful views. Pool was great for grandkids! Beach access to the lake was nice as well. Owner was very quick to respond if we had question or a need.

Lake House (Chelan)

My partner and I had an amazing weekend vacation the house was very clean and everything was maintained! The owner is very kind and helpful and goes above and beyond for us! We will stay with her again! It was an amazing weekend trip!

lake chelan extended weekend

great view of the lake and surrounding hills. The pool accommodated our group as did the hot tub, the owner was very gracious to help out in making that happen, thank you. Chelan is minutes away for shopping and misc. shops. great stay!

Family Friendly Spot Near Town

Carol's place is the perfect spot for a family vacation. It's close to town and well appointed. The bunk room was a great setup for our kiddos with lots of cozy blankets and pillows. The large, comfortable couch meant we all had room to stretch out for a family movie. Of course, the highlight of the trip was the pool and incredible lake view. Carol was the most thoughtful and accommodating host, too. We can't wait to return.

My name is Carol Carpenter and I've lived in Washington my whole life. I called Yakima my home for 47 years, knowing Chelan would be the final destination for me. My family and I have always loved Chelan. We vacationed here for 14 years before acquiring Lakeside Alcove Getaway. The surrounding mountains, crystal clear glacier fed waters of Lake Chelan, and the small community have always been a draw for us. So, we finally made the jump and purchased a home that we could both enjoy for ourselves and provide as a rental for families and friends to make their own wonderful memories. From my family to yours, enjoy some Lake Life on Lake Time. There's almost nothing better! I'm convinced!
