Centrally located, and right down the street from the immaculate and highly sought after private beach of Port Franks. Rustic style cottage inside, with suble updates that allow for the classic cottage feel with all the modern amenities you need! Encompassed by trees and surrounded on both sides by rivers, with the Ausable River across the street and Golden Creek in the backyard. You and your guests can take the provided kayaks just a 2 minute walk down the street to a brand new canoe and kayak launch into Golden Creek, which allows guests the opportunity to drift through beautiful scenery, all the way down to Port Franks private beach!

* 2 minute car ride to Port Franks beach on Lake Huron. (15-20 minute walk)

* Go up and climb the enormous sand dunes, located just as you enter the community! A big tourist attraction and fun for the whole family!

*A short walk to the local marinas

*5 minute drive to the locals favourite and private fishing spots, which offers incredible fishing opportunity for all levels!

*Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of Port Franks favourite family restaurants, MacPherson's- which also offers a convenience store- only a 4 minute drive

* If you are looking for more of a date lunch or dinner type restaurant, check out Grog's, known for its incredible food and service- only a 5 minute drive

* Don't feel like cooking or going out? Oh! Pizza is just a couple lots done, offering delicious Italian style pizza with comfortable convenience. A 2 minute walk from the cabin.

* Port Franks Community Center is a 15 minute walk from the cottage which offers access to some incredible ammenities including; pickleball and tennis courts, basketball court, large outdoor playground for kids, soccer field as well as frisbee golf cages.

*The community center also allows access to " Heart of the Trails Woods" which offers access to the 20km of beautiful and well maintained trails. Two of the trails which make up the 20km have incredible waterfalls, a big tourist attraction.

* For more hiking options take a short drive to the Pinery and enjoy many more km of trails!

*If you feel up for exploring more of Lake Huron, Ipperwash Beach is a 10 minute drive to the west and Grand Bend is a 15 minute drive to the east, offering more ammenities for people of all ages!

* We offer guest outdoors games as well including; yahtzee, corn hole, can-jam, yard size pong/ beer pong and more.

*WE WELCOME SPORTS TEAMS AS WELL: We recognize being in Lambton Shores that means there are a lot of various sports and sports teams to support locally. With that we know that tournaments are a common event in the towns surrounding Port Franks. We welcome teams to our cabin as an alternative to hotels.

* BACHELOR PARTIES OR GOLF GETAWAYS: We do welcome groups and if golfing is your thing we are surrounded by some amazing golf options. We are a short distance from; Widder Station (sought after course in the area), Sandhills Golf Course (2-3 min drive), Indian Hills and Forest City Golf courses both 15-20 min drive away.

* If golf is not for you, why not tour some of the local breweries and cider breweries that Lambton Shores has to offer. All within 20 mins of the cabin you and your friends can check out some of the following Lambton Shore tourist hot spots; Twin Pines Orchard, Bad Apple Brewing Company and Torched Brewing Company.

* BACHELORETTE PARTY: Enjoy the beautiful country scenery while you drive out to experience some delicious wines at nearby wineries-10-15 minute drive to either Shale Ridge Estate Winery and Ciders, or Twin Pines Orchards and Cider House- Dark Horse Estate winery is a 20 minute drive, but definitely worth it!

Our cabin is the perfect place for you and your groomsman and/or bridesmaids to get ready for your big day. With our comfortable beds and spacious cabin and lot, it is great spot for friends to rest and relax before the big day!
