This spacious cottage nestled into one of the few remaining Oak Savannas in the world is the perfect destination for a family getaway, couples retreat, or a gathering of mature friends 30 and older with a maximum of eight (8) adults or ten (10) guests if the group includes at least two children.

The location is breathtaking in natural beauty and only a 15-minute walk to the private Sun Beach and a short drive to one of the most popular beach destinations in Canada, Grand Bend.

Perfect Spot

This cottage is stunning in a quiet and peaceful area. It’s close to a private beach and all the amenities you need. It’s very spacious for large groups. We would definitely rent here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent spot for our family!

The property had so many nice touches, clear instructions with all amenities, and was very clean. The neighbourhood was quiet and neighbours were friendly on our many walks, and the beach was a nice short trip away. We'll be looking at booking again next year!

Amazing place to stay with family

What a wonderful getaway in the trees. It is very private and has everything you would ever need to make your stay amazing. All locations of items are labeled on the handles and there really is everything. Games and activities for the kids and just a great layout of the house. We will definitely be back!!

Excellent family getaway

We had a great stay at this family friendly cottage! There was lots of room for our group of 8 adults and 3 kids. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was well supplied. Both kids and adults had lots to do between the board games, pool table, movies and arcade game table. We will come again.

Check in process was simple and very user friendly. While at the door the operating instructions were perfect and allowed us easy access. Several of us took advantage of the bikes in the garage and toured the neighborhood and to scout out the beeches that were close by. We loved the tiny details like the “tags” on each drawer/doors in the kitchen to tell you what was inside, very nice touch! Beds were all comfortable. The place was very clean from top to bottom. It was a very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend this location!

Beach beauty

Beautiful spot, clean and spacious! Great place for a large group. We ate together, bbqed together. Played pool and watched movies. The beach was a 15 walk. Walked to a cute coffee shop on the river too!

We have stayed at several Vrbo's and to date this is by far the best we have seen. It was beautiful, very well equipped and there was plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. The game room was awesome and where we spent most of our time in friendly competitions. The information shared by the host regarding the local area was extremely helpful. I would rate this house and host a solid 10 out of 10. Thank you for a great time.

An amazing property in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. Great getaway.

Max is thorough from the moment I made the reservation and until check out. He is on top of everything and wants to ensure that we have a terrific stay communicating with us on an as needed basis. This was much appreciated. We were celebrating my 65th birthday and successful bypass surgery with my wife and 3 grown kids and significant others. There wasn’t anything that was missing in terms of the property itself. Everything is labeled in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. There are cute little easels that explain what is what and includes all passwords and instructions. This was really helpful especially when it came to operating the gas BBQ and outdoor gas fire table. The beach is a 20 minute leisurely walk and “downtown” Grand Bend is a short 5 minute drive away. Hidden in the magnificent forest this property is extremely comfortable and safe. We would not hesitate to return or in fact book at one of his other properties. All in all, it was a blast and we rate it a 10 out of 10. Thank you for our awesome first family post Covid getaway.
