Correspondence with the host was fine. The home itself is decent. The beds need major improvement. We believe the back bedroom bed was broken but all were very uncomfortable even for a quick stay. Parking is awful. Lacked heating in the basement with no extra blankets. The only plus for us was It is within walking distance to the casino and close to some restaurants.

⭐ Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that communication was smooth and that you enjoyed our 📍 location—being within walking distance to the casino 🎰 and close to great restaurants 🍽️ is definitely one of the highlights of our home. 🛏️ We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the beds. This is not the standard we aim for. We’ve already scheduled an inspection of the back bedroom bed and are upgrading the mattresses to ensure better comfort for future guests. 🔥 Regarding the basement temperature and extra blankets, thank you for pointing this out. We are adding more blankets 🧣 and improving the heating setup so the space stays warm and cozy. 🚗 We understand parking can be challenging in the area, and we’re working on clearer instructions and better guidance to make this easier for guests going forward. 🙏 We really appreciate your honest feedback—it helps us improve. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide a much more comfortable and enjoyable stay next time.

Horrible experience! Filthy, unsafe neighborhood, smelled of CIGARETTE smoke. Cigarette burn in comforter and nicotine tar caked on vent and the host said it smelled in the house because of the wildfires. Screws were drilled into windows to prevent opening, host said it was for our safety to prevent break ins. Dead bugs on window sill, filthy bathroom rugs, food left in refrigerator, dirty slippers in entryway, air conditioning was off upon arrival and it was extremely hot! Advertised sleeping space in basement did not have a second exit. Had encounters with several homeless individuals from nearby shelter. History of a car break in on the property. Just not a good place to stay overnight. We left after 30 minutes when the host told us to spray air freshener and open the windows! Stayed in a hotel instead! Would give a ZERO if possible! Awful experience and completely disappointed in both the host! Find a hotel instead. DO NOT STAY HERE!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you for sharing your concerns. We’re genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we respect your decision to leave. 🙏 🌲 Regarding the odor reported during the stay, the area was experiencing wildfire smoke conditions and a province-wide air-quality alert at the time. When you contacted us, we responded promptly and suggested opening the available window for ventilation and offered air freshener as an immediate option to help make the space more comfortable. 🏡 We take cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort very seriously. The concerns raised were communicated to our team so they could be inspected and addressed. We also appreciate feedback because it gives us an opportunity to continually improve the experience we provide. 📍 Our home is located near downtown Windsor, providing convenient access to Caesars Windsor, the riverfront, restaurants, grocery shopping, entertainment and other downtown attractions. As with many urban downtown locations, guests may encounter people from many different walks of life in the surrounding community. 💙 We have had the privilege of welcoming many guests who have enjoyed the home's convenient location, value, amenities and our responsive communication. We remain committed to being available to our guests and addressing concerns as quickly as possible. We’re sorry this particular stay wasn't the right fit, and we sincerely wish you all the best in your future travels. 🙏✨

Entire home was heavily scented wondering if covering a smell from must or basement. All rooms had plug in scent emitter so if sensitive to smell i would not recommend. AC unit was very loud. There were many bangs, vent noises etc from the basement at all hours randomly enough to awake you from sleep fearing a break in. Foam pad on top of box spring on every bed rather than proper mattress. Nearly empty only one roll of toilet paper available on arrival.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback 🙏 We truly appreciate all reviews — they help us improve and give future guests the best experience possible 💛 🌿 About the scent: We do use plug-in air fresheners to keep the home smelling clean and fresh for guests. We completely understand that scent sensitivity varies, and we’re always happy to remove or unplug them upon request. ❄️ AC & Basement Noises: The AC unit can be heard when running, especially during high cooling cycles in extreme weather. As for the basement sounds, Windsor homes (especially older builds) can have natural vent and duct expansion noises. We’ve had no safety concerns reported, but we appreciate you bringing it up and will continue monitoring it for guest comfort. 🛏️ Beds: Each bed includes a supportive mattress base with an added foam topper for extra comfort, as many guests prefer a softer feel. That said, we understand comfort is personal and are reviewing bedding upgrades. 🧻 Supplies: We provide starter essentials for every stay. If at any time something is running low, we’re always just a message away and happy to deliver more right away 🚚✨ We’re glad you chose to stay with us and truly value your input. We’re continuously improving to ensure a 5-star experience for every guest ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you again 🙏
