Amenities sadly lacking

Basement rental appeared to be newly set up with laminate floors, tons of storage, new bathroom and kitchen fixtures, a bed and living room sectional sofa and ottoman. Excellent access to Calgary’s transit system with stores and restaurants close by.What was glaringly lacking were many basic amenities needed to make a stay comfortable and pleasurable. The list of absent items includes a television, dining table and chairs, lamp tables and reading lamps, dish towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner, dining utensils, iron and ironing board, throw rugs and an adequate supply of towels.When I messaged the host about the lack of tv, towels, ironing board and iron and utensils, and kitchen waste basket, he dropped by a “care package “ of those items except a tv, which he indicated we should not have expected as it was not shown in the listing photos.He did provide a 10% discount on the total bill to cover our inconvenience, but that feels inadequate to me.I would not rebook this rental and advise crewmen caution to anyone considering it to ask lots of advance questions. Perhaps the host is just getting started and has not yet learned how to make guests comfortable,

New apartment. Nice and clean.

Pro’s. the fastest internet @ 750 mbps. Owner was very fast to respond to anything I needed. Good location near a SuperStore. One Block from Macleod. Close to Chinook Centre. Con’s. no TV or kitchen table.
