Host was MIA
We booked this property for a girls trip. Leading up to the trip I had reached out to the host to request an early check in. The host took days to reply but eventually was kind enough to offer a 2 hour earlier check in. After that we never heard from the host. The day of our check in we received no information on how to access the property so I reached out and asked. The host replied this time in a timely manner to give us the code to get in and that was it. Once we got to the property I had to reach out again to get the wifi information. The host provided access to us but the wifi in the house was down. After explaining the wifi was down, the host took HOURS to reply, and her responses were no help at all. I asked politely if they could do something to fix the wifi for us and eventually she just ghosted us. We missed the playoff hockey game that we were so excited to watch. We couldn’t watch any tv/movies and used up an insane amount of data on our phones while we were there. We even tried mirroring our phones to the tv so we could watch something but that of course didn’t work. I understand technology fails, but the host completely ghosted us and did not care at all. No apology, no attempt to fix it for us, nothing. There was also no information sent for check out procedures. Not a great experience, very unorganized and the host didn’t seem to care at all. I would not come back here. Tbh the host should have offered compensation for the horrible communication and NO WIFI.
