Great location to downtown. Very comfortable beds. Big property and plenty of parking. House has a lot of open space inside that is empty and chopped up. We enjoyed the living room and dining room. Kitchen is small but covers needs. Clean and comfortable for 3 couples.

Check in went smooth, great instructions. Downstairs Bedroom has a bathroom attached, super soft bed with clean sheets, no tv. There are many doors and entryways throughout the house. Abundance of air fresheners, which we had to unplug. Kitchen was simple but sufficient for our morning coffee needs. Plenty of parking. Tried to communicate owner the first time via text, no response so tried email. Received a text response hours later which was OK because it was before check in. Texted day before checkout, never received a response. Vrbo should update which communication method is best: text, email or call. Bathroom sinks and toilets were dirty, not old because I can appreciate an old house but dirty. There were cleaning supplies which we were thankful for. Overall good stay, the dirty Bathroom gets 0 stars.

Stayed in Adrian to see my college kid and spend the weekend with her. Checking in was super easy and the location was great. We went in knowing it was an old house and read the previous reviews about the smell so we expected that. The mold,musty smell was much worse than we were prepared for. The house was less than clean. The bathrooms had soap scum in the tub and shower, hair, debris, etc. The sinks and counters were filthy and the toilets needed to be cleaned. Webs, lots of webs hanging from various areas of the ceiling. The trash in the main floor bath was full, and someone used it for their dirty toilet paper instead of flushing it. The rules said upon check out empty all the trash, which we did, obviously the previous people did not and it was not followed up upon "cleaning" between guests. The kitchen is tight. And minimal to work with for cooking. Luckily I brought a tote with all my kitchen supplies to cook. It's a large house with lots of room, but minimal furniture. Much less furniture than pictured. There is a lazy boy butted up to a wall, don't sit in it. It's butted up because it's broken, as in pretty much cracked in half. That was disappointing to see. There's minimal vacation rentals in Adrian, as it's not exactly a touristy town. So to be honest, I wasn't expecting an amazing place as the demand is not high. It's definitely a bare bones place, and if you're not a clean freak and can overlook some things, it did the job.

The house was roomy. The beds comfortable ( except for the futon)Plenty of needed items in the kitchen.Plenty of places to see in the surrounding area. Local stores like Aldi, Walmart etc close by. The downtown area was within walking distance and fun to visit.

Very lovely home

I was very pleased with my stay at this property. It is located very close to a little downtown area with small shops and restaurants. I stayed 8 days and the beds were comfy the upstairs tub was my absolute favourite to kick back relax and soak after being out in the cold all day. I definitely will stay here again in the future I adored all the charm this place definitely has.

Very Clean, but I still had an allergic reaction to the house’s allergens

Very clean and tidy. Nice new carpet. Tiny kitchen. 1st Bathroom: One shower and shower head - maybe should be replaced. 2nd Bathroom: One bathtub. Basement and attic were scary. Unfortunately, the old house allergens made it so I couldn’t breathe the whole time I was there. The caretaker was very kind and allowed us extra time in the house. Thank you.

The location to the downtown shops was very nice. The house was not as pictured on the site. The floors were very hilly like walking when you’re drunk. The bathroom door upstairs didn’t latch had a gap to where you could see someone sitting on the toilet. It’s really only two bedrooms with beds. The pots and pans were dirty, we had to clean everything before we used it. We had to buy our own towels cuz there was only one towel for 6 people. We made it through two nights stay but luckily we are a close knit family.
