Escape to the secluded Boobook Barn. Imagine waking up to breathtaking rural vistas and the sounds of nature on this 7 acre, secluded property. The Boobook Barn is nestled in a hidden valley of lush bush, with an abundance of native wildlife at its doorstep. Enjoy the tranquility of this secluded retreat, yet still be within 5 minute drive to the local shops in Pambula, having the conveniences of Some of the most beautiful beaches on the South Coast. Other nearby attractions include the Pambula River Mouth 10 minute drive, Eden Killer Whale Museum, The township of Tathra and its historic wharf, Merimbula’s pristine beaches, including Short Point and Bar Beach as well as the many unique, local shops and restaurants the town has to offer. There are an endless amount of attractions within a close proximity, including mountain biking, swimming, fishing charters, whale watching tours, kayaking and bush walking. There is also ample room to park a boat to the rear of the property and a dog friendly yard. We are sure our guests will have a relaxing and enjoyable stay at our property in Bald Hills, NSW.

Our host was incredible and it was super easy to find the place. All instructions for entry to the home were provided and easily understood. The property was great for our family, kids got a kick out of playing cricket out the front with the native kangaroos, shooting hoops in the back and just loved the immense space as typically back home in Sydney they don't quite have the space. The location was close to Pambula, Merimbula, Eden etc. We took advantage of all the tourist attractions such as pristine beaches, tasty seafood, with Dom's Oyster Farm within a 5 minute drive from Bald Hills. Best oysters by a country mile. Plenty of restaurants in Merimbula, but definitely advisable to book in advance as during festive periods there's an influx of thousands of people in the region. Property had everything you need to feel right at home, even though we were a half day's drive from home. I would definitely recommend Craig's property to anyone looking for a great option for accommodation in the far South Coast and we will definitely be back there in the future.

We were a group of 4 adults spending a week here for a family Christmas.We loved this beautifully maintained property and surrounding grounds.It was quiet and peaceful and very relaxing.We would love to come again.

Secluded & Peaceful

Hit the jackpot staying here over Christmas! Away from the crowds awesome private and peaceful spot. Great for fisherman too, area out back where could clean and keep my boat. Was perfect.The only downside kept hearing that line from that famous Australian movie over and over in my head "How's the serenity?" First world issues :). Lovely spot!
