Great Holiday Vacation

Overall great stay! The property was clean and had all the amenities necessary including a basketball court in the neighborhood. The children enjoyed the themed bedrooms and toys.

A home away from home

Such comfortable accommodations! Perfect for families- we had 3 generations. We loved the pool and the location was excellent for shops and Disney. Wish we could stay longer and will certainly visit again! Owner was always responsive and helpful!

Great House and Location

We had a great experience staying at this house for a family trip. Carol was very helpful and responsive, there were a few minor issues that she was able to resolve promptly. We would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Loved the game room

We were very comfortable. The location was great with a Walmart nearby for supplies. We used the game room almost every night. The clubhouse was also very cool.

Great location and amenities!

This house worked out great for our Disney trip! It was super convenient to the parks and we enjoyed the pool and game room as well as the community playground and water park on our rest days. The kids loved the themed bedrooms, toys and karaoke machine! Carol was extremely responsive and great to work with. We would definitely stay in this house again for a future trip!

Perfect for a family trip!

Whimsey of Windsor Hills is an amazing choice for a family trip. There is plenty of space for the whole family and everything you need from towels to dishes to strollers and toys for the kids. The house is conveniently located near a playground and close to the clubhouse/pool. Carol is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

This was a great property. We were also so grateful for the quick booking and registration as we had to find a place to stay at the last minute. Our previous house was unacceptable and not safe during a pandemic. This property was the complete opposite of that.

5 star home!

Beautiful home just minutes from Disney. Carol is very responsive to any questions, home is very clean, beautiful pool and hot tub! We spent many hours either in the pool or sitting on the shaded patio. The home is close to many restaurants and of course Disney is just a few minutes from here! Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great spot for your family vacation.

Excellent stay!!

We stayed at Carol's property for part of our hoilday to Florida from the UK. The location is excellent, being extremely close to the Disney parks and a 30min drive to Universal. The property itself was very good, accommodating two families with ease. The pool provided much fun when not in the parks and the communal pool area also very good. The gated community is lovely - meticulously clean, very secure and a pleasure to stay in. All in all, I can thoroughly recommend the property for those would be travellers looking for a place to stay when visiting Orlando.

Awesome stay!

I looked and looked for what seems like forever and kept returning to this property. I'm so glad we chose it! Carol was amazing to always respond right away, everything was super clean, so spacious, the pool was awesome, and just overall a great place! We went to a few theme parks for my son's 5th birthday and we all kept saying we couldn't wait to get back to this awesome house! The pool was our favorite part of the house, it was just a great home and we would definitely stay again!

Couldn’t be happier

We planned a family trip for a week to enjoy Disney World. This property was the PERFECT choice for the needs of 6 adults and 2 boys (6 and 8 years old). Getting to and from the parks was an absolute breeze! On the days we took off from the Disney experience we enjoyed the gigantic community pool with the splash pad, water slides, and concession stand. The villa itself was perfect for us as well, enough space for the adults and kids to enjoy each other but also enjoy time apart (sometimes it is nice when the kids can just play in the playroom or watch TV while the adults were able to catch up and enjoy some quiet time!)!

"Whimsy" also includes Quality!

Where to start...It was a perfect setting for our vacation. We had no issues with cleanliness, layout, check in and communication with the owner. Our expectations were tremendously exceeded. The pool was obligatory as it was unseasonably hot. It did not disappoint. All amenities were above and beyond and my girls will always remember their Frozen themed home for the week! Trash was picked up practically every day. The clubhouse rivaled most private country clubs. All in all we looked forward to returning to this home, even after a day of magic with the mouse. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fun for Families!

We arrived to Whimsey of Windsor Hills for an extended family vacation with 3 families. It was beautiful, clean, and had everything we would want inside and out! The cousins bunked together in the two themed kids rooms and loved it! Toys were provided to match the theming, so when they woke up in the morning things stayed quiet for a while. All the grown-ups had their own private spaces too. There were several strollers to choose from for our park days, and several appliances to try out in the kitchen for the days we decided to stay home. The backyard pool was perfect for quick swims or lazy days at home! I was glad for the removable fence that blocked it off so that kids wouldn't have access without an adult. There were a number of floats and pool toys to play with.

A definite 5 Star!

We have rented many houses over the years on VRBO and this house is perfect for a family vacation! It's close all the Disney parks! It truely takes 10 mins to get to the gates. This is our second time renting this house and we have never done that before. The owner Carol is wonderful to communiate with! She is very attentive and was beyond amazing when we had to switch our weeks due to hurricane Milton. The pictures show how nice each and every room is. The house is immaculte! It is well stocked with whatever you may need from cooking utenisls, night lights and toys for children to play with! We enjoyed the game room with pool, air hockey and foosball tables. The lanai, pool and hot tub were delightful to gather around and swim. The gated community is very safe and the playground and community pool are excellent. I would highly recommend this property and will be booking our next vacation stay here again!

Great location and perfect size

We really enjoyed Whimsey home in Windsor Hills; everything was great, and the pictures and description were accurately described. Our granddaughters enjoyed both the themed bedrooms and the toys to play with. It was a dream to have 3 king sized beds to accommodate the 3 sets of adults. We all slept well. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of appliances. We spent time in the pool, cooling off after the hot sunny days in the parks, and eating dinner outside while the girls played. In addition, we had fun playing the various games in the game room, which easily accommodated our group of 8, all on different games. The resort pool/hot tub/splash zone were enjoyed particularly by our 7 & 9 yo granddaughters. The Disney parks were so close and easily accessible, heading out early we encountered no traffic or parking hassles. Of course, we had a grand time in all 4 parks, but we all wished we had one more day to relax and enjoy your fantastic home and community. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Not enough room here to say everything I want to say

The place is hot at night you cannot do anything because the thermostat is set to 74 degrees even though it feels like 80° we went ahead and pay extra money $25 a day for them to keep the pool warmer on so we had warm water in the pool it did not warm up one bit we have stayed in that community and other houses before never had this problem we knew we were going to end up paying for the total amount to stay but we’ve decided to leave prior to the finish day because we were not comfortable Also we were not aware that there is cameras not inside the house but outside so they can see you when you go and when you come back
