Not all business
This property is nice, but needs some basic attention to detail, and online picture updates. There must have been a recent decor reno as items shown in pictures online have changed. (I kind of feel like you shouldn't offer rental space until things are updated and accurate and finished. Patchwork on the wall and such.) Pool chairs especially. Current ones are not nearly as nice as the ones shown. There were no nice pads to lie on and the metal gets very hot in the sun.Inside was comfortable, clean and spacious. There's some obvious wear and tear that I would tackle, but maybe that's to come?? The rental lacked in some amenities in my opinion. For a Florida rental I think 4 beach chairs and a couple of umbrellas would go far. As well as a cooler. There was nothing EXTRA as I have had in other VRBO rentals. Even simple as tupperware or saran wrap. The air conditioning worked great and the pool area was lovely. Having the outdoor toilet by the pool is very smart. Bedrooms are all well appointed, large closets and all with TV's. We are grillers, so that was definitely something that needs an upgrade, but we made it work. I'm not a VRBO host so I don't know what it's like to rent to strangers that may not respect the property or what it has to offer, so maybe some of these things don't make sense to improve on, but I'm of the thinking that I wouldn't want someone to have excuses for not coming back.
