Newly Remodeled Lake to Lodge 3 bedroom 2 bath Condo on Metcalf Bay

- We require all guests to check-in with one of our managers prior to checking.
Our staff will familiarize you and your group with our home and have you sign
the City of Big Bear "Good Neighbor Policy". Our staff will make every effort
to check you in if it's after 5pm. There maybe times when our staff needs you
to check-in at a different location. We will forward all contact information the
day of check-in and it is the renters responsibility to communicate with our
staff.

For a quiet getaway this amazing Big Bear Lake Condo (3br/2ba) is located in the lakefront community of Bayshore Ski and Racquet Club, just past Boulder Bay, only 5 minutes from The Village and features 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 tennis courts and a basketball court. For your convenience this condo complex offers a day dock for your boat. This upgraded newly decorated condo has wifi, VCRs, flat screen HDTVs in every room including huge 65 inch in family room, washer/dyer, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful fireplace and outdoor BBQ. The area is surrounded by Southern California's best skiing and snowboarding areas: Bear Mountain/Snow Summit (only 10 minutes from condo; recently purchased by Mammoth Mountain) and Snow Valley. Big Bear Lake offers fishing, motor boat, kayak, water skiing and paddle boat rentals at Pleasure Point Marina, a 5 minute walk from condo. Big Bear Lake also offers horse back riding, alpine slide, mountain biking and many awesome hiking trails nearby. The upstairs master bedroom
has a king size bed, large flat screen HDTV, high ceiling and master bath. Second upstairs bedroom has full over full bunk bed, high ceiling and flat screen HDTV with DVD. One bedroom downstairs offers queen bed, flat screen HDTV and full bath. Queen size sofa pullout in Living Room.

Clean

It was very clean, but definitely not a luxury accommodation. The kitchen is cute and was well stocked. The window blinds are rickety and need to be replaced. Master bath needs a good coat of paint. A lamp in one of the upstairs bedrooms was missing a switch and could only be used by plugging and unplugging. Not a major issue, but annoying. I did tell both the manager and owner but didn't receive a response from either. It was a good location, easy access to everything. The view out the front door is the street and the view out the back is other units' patios and the parking lot. All in all, it was a decent stay but I don't think I'd book again, preferring a more scenic location.

Very Nice and Clean

We were impressed by how well this condo was updated and it was incredibly clean, which is very important to us. The kitchen is beautiful! The condo also had a nice amount of space. We enjoyed our stay. Christy checked us in and was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. She is awesome!

Excellent location in quiet neighborhood

This VRBO was great for setting up my best friend's skiing bachelor trip. We are quiet dudes, so this quiet neighborhood was perfect for resting in after a long day skiing at Snow Summit. The kitchen was fully stocked with great kitchenware and appliances, the bedrooms were well heated and quiet, and the bathrooms were meticulously clean. Ventilation in the bunk bedroom was difficult the first night, but the host responded rapidly to fix the issue by pointing out where the portable fans were stored in the queen bedroom's closet. The fireplace was very nice after a long day in wet spring skiing conditions, drying out our gear easily. Since we weren't there to party or rage all night, sitting by the fire and drinking tea was extremely nice. Overall, if you have a large group that wants to skii at Big Bear or Snow Summit, but also doesn't plan to party or throw a rager (lots of warnings about fines if we did this), this is the VRBO for you.
