Gated Lake house on Swan Bay

Lots of wildlife. Deer, turkey, duck, geese, and an eagle, now and then. Sleeps 14, 10 beds. Fully equipped kitchen, firepit with cookout equipment. Firewood is available. Pool table, 3 TVs, 3 bathrooms, 20x20 party garage with bar, darts, and other games. Screen porch off the basement for smokers and/or wildlife watchers. No smoking in the house! Stocked pond access. Paddle boat. All transactions will go through VRBO. However, if you would like to speak to owner before booking, you can contact Duine Kilgore 731-363-5875

We loved our 4th of JULY stay! The property was perfect & our whole group had a wonderful time! The owners are so nice and accommodating!! We had the best time at the pond fishing out of the paddle boat!

Beautiful location

Proprty is older and could use updates but Duane is a super nice man that went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful Roomy House

Lots of beds and bathrooms. Beautiful kitchen with plenty of dishes. Sheets and towels smelled really good. Beautiful location.

We loved the location of the house. It was isolated enough that you felt like you were alone, but close to amenities. The property owner lives close by and was VERY helpful and kind. Lots of things to do in the home itself. My grandchildren, 8 and 23, had plenty to keep them occupied. We will be going back.

Family Gathering

The property is in a nice location on the lake and is a good set-up for a family gathering. The owner lives nearby and is very nice and friendly. It is an older house that needs some updates, repairs and cleaning. We were the first rental this spring and the house was a bit musty. The rental has no WiFi; however, the owner's house has WiFi that can be used in a pinch. It is a fair price for the size of the rental and a good fit for our gathering. Overall a good stay.

As long as this place is available we will always stay here. The house is perfect and has everything you need. The owner is amazing we love meeting and talking with him every year.. Hands downs this is best place to stay.

Good family getaway

If you're looking for a good spot to accommodate extended family, this will do the trick. It's not fancy, but it is exactly as listed: lots of beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and ample outdoor space. Communicating with the property manager was a breeze and he was patient in answering questions and friendly in offering support. There is no wifi and depending on your cellular network (AT&T), no phone coverage either. But that might have been good - meant we all unplugged and focused on being together.

Had fun at the pond!!

We all had a lot of fun!! There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 children. The pond and lake was a lot of fun. The kids loved jumping off the top of the screened room at the pond. We walked through the woods some too. Only issues were the ticks but that's a given being in the woods. Very private and secluded.

Quick Trip but wanted to stay at lake it was Perfect

I grew up in Buchanan and I have been gone for 30 years so while staying there it brought back a lot of childhood memories and being able to fish on that exact same area of the lake. Will stay again if I come back to TN.

Awesome place to stay

This house was great had plenty of room stocked with everything needed inside and out on the water 3 min drive to boat dock perfect place to stay with or without children owner very helpful and nice will be the only place we stay when we go there

Wonderful and relaxing stay

Duane was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The house was just as described. Lake front but no dock. No wifi which we enjoyed. A perfect place to truly get away from the hectic everyday stuff. Loved the view from the deck. Perfect for sitting, playing cards and relaxing. Very close to marina so easy to rent a boat. Loved the darts in the garage and pool table down stairs. Great for the teenagers and fun for the adults. Lots of deer on the property which is very secluded. The pond is so much fun with the paddle boat and Duane helped my boys fish; baiting the hooks, helping with bobbers and getting the fish off the hook. The kids caught many fish. There is a dock that the kids could jump from into the pond. So much FUN! Duane was super nice and friendly. We will definitely be coming back to this property!
