Our stay was wonderful! Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The location was wonderful, very close to the Alamo and Riverwalk with minimal driving. The location of the property was very accessible to nearby Wal Mart and Dollar General for last minute necessities and/or a grocery run. There was also a community pool across the street ( we didn’t get to visit this time around but would definitely visit next trip out.) Also there is the Mission Theater right nearby that offers outdoor movie on Saturdays for free. All in all the house is nice and clean and in a good location. Reservation, Check In and Check Out was a breeze. Bonus for anyone with a practicing Catholic faith, a Catholic Church sits just a few 100 feet away or so which was really nice.

The stay was nice. Kitchen was equipped well. LOOOVED the gas stove and back porch. Will definitely pick this home again. Neighborhood was quiet and in a good location.Thank you

Loved the shower! Nice large backyard with a nice outdoor seating area. I was able to park in the driveway with a large F150 with no trouble despite not being able to park beyond the gate. The neighborhood is mixed - gentrified with not yet updated - so some evenings were spicier than others. It would be nice if the rental company allowed parking in the driveway inside the gate for security. The decor was eclectic and bright. Overall not a bad stay.

The best part about our stay here was convenience to our places we were visiting. Next was the house was very quiet. I DO get the feeling that it's a fairly new listing and they still havent supplied the house with most of the usual extras. We arrived late one night and really needed a shower but there was no soap. The AC struggled to cool the house down. Admittedly we like cool sleeping temps and 75 degrees was really hot for us. Our first night was really bad. I think in time if they keep adding the small things that make it feel homey it will improve. There was none of the usual written instructions that I have become accustomed to in VRBOs. (Oh, and yes the shower tile was amazing! )

We had a great stay at the Birdy Vacation Rental! The space is lovely and well maintained. We had a couple of issues (like a lightbulb was out in the bathroom, simple stuff) that were addressed readily and very quickly. We're grateful for that. We really enjoyed the back porch where we met the neighborhood outdoor cat-- we named him Milo. We love the location of this spot-- it is within very reachable distance of just about anywhere you'd like to go in the SATX area. Thanks for a great trip!
