Historic Southtown Gem - Walk Along the River

Experience peace and quiet behind the iron gates in this beautifully renovated Historic 1900's home across the street from the San Antonio River, and a few blocks from the Historic King William District. Easily walk to the Blue Star Brewery or many restaurants nearby, or jump on a scooter, Uber or bicycle to visit the nearby Historical Missions, the Riverwalk, the Alamo, Convention Center, Historic Market Square or the Alamodome. This spacious 3 bedroom house offers 1 king bed and 2 double beds, as well as an available queen air mattress if needed. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a Washer and Dryer in the Laundry room. Enjoy your morning coffee while sitting in the rocking chairs on the large covered front porch, and in the evening relax around a fire pit in the backyard, or grill up some steaks on the BBQ grill.

Loved it

The house is lovely. It truly has early 20th century charm. The large windows, brick columns, cute walkway, iron fence, and architectural details of the home were all adorable. The hosts responded right away to any questions we had and offered great recommendations for places to visit and eat. Over-all we had a great time. The only downside was the neighborhood. It isn’t quite as deep into the King William district as we were hoping, and didn’t feel as secure as we liked.

Wonderful host and house

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The host was absolutely amazing. She gave us great ideas of things to do with our young kids and made us feel at home. We loved the house! It’s updated nicely and is cozy. Highly recommend staying here. Centrally located so you can be to all the great tourists sites within 10-15 minute drive and some you can even walk too.

Spotless comfort, great location

This is a great place to stay in San Antonio. Some great restaurants within a couple miles, downtown not far away. A bit chilly in February, but our host took good care of us.

Very nice stay

Very cute, clean, nicely decorated house. Soft beds, nice towels. Very close to the river walk and other attractions. Definitely recommend.

Great refurbished historic home

Home is all the pictures show. It’s big, clean and updated. Also, it’s very close to downtown and riverwalk. We loved the location and the walking trails across the street are easy access too. Great place!

Convenient location

The location is a convenient drive to all the attractions throughout San Antonio. The interior of the home is cute and clean, beds were comfortable. Provided the basic necessities for our weeklong stay. Communication with the host was always prompt and helpful.

Comfortable charming house, great location!

Property was very charming and clean! Each room was decorated with beautiful furniture and comfortable beds. The host was very accommodating to our needs and did a great job communicating all of the details as well as answering all of our questions. The location was great! A short drive to downtown near plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping! Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful house

The house was nice, clean and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and kitchen stocked. The neighborhood is up and coming with close proximity to downtown. The walking trails and park that are across the street were an added bonus.

Beautiful home, perfect location!

This historic home was immaculately clean and beautiful, the fence was great. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hosts were so kind. We crossed the street both days to go to the Riverwalk trail, and it was easy and so peaceful and perfect! We loved our stay, we would love to come back soon!

Wonderful Home Away From Home

My mom and I booked this for our girls trip to San Antonio. House was beautiful with its historic charm, open concept, and very clean. Very accessible to all the things we wanted to do. Slept well in comfortable beds and linens. I definitely recommend and would book this home again for a return trip. Thank you for having us!

Great house

This was our first time in San Antonio and we loved our experience here. The house was perfect for us since we like to walk and it is close to the River Walk. We loved being close to all the cultural events, but not being in the downtown area. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped.

Awesome home with super location!

The home was spotless, decor was tasteful and inviting, kitchen well stocked and the surprise was toiletries were stocked in the bathroom! Location is convenient to all things"fun to do" in San Antonio. Riverwalk, Blue Star, Pearl Brewery (6 miles) and the Quary (8 miles). We will definitely be back! Thanks Destin for providing us a nice get away!

Perfect location

Our family had a great stay. The music upon arrival was a wonderful touch. Destin was great to communicate with and was quick to respond with any inquiries. The location was great, we were no more than 30 minutes away from all of our destinations. Downtown was even closer than that. Plenty of restaurants within a mile or two. The house was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had a great time!
