Arrive by train and walk just 500 meters to your stylish cottage with period features. Refuel with a barista made coffee and a bite to eat at The Drawing Room Cafe, just meters from your door. Once settled, take the short stroll into the CBD and enjoy all that Bendigo has to offer. Head home to enjoy the city and cathedral views from the deck, before walking just two minutes to local favourite, The Queens Arms Pub, for a sit down or takeaway meal.

Dedicated workspace with computer screen and computer chair available on request.

3:00pm check-in and 11:00am check-out.

Pets - while the backyard is enclosed, guests assume full responsibility for their pets. Please do not allow pets in the front yard.

Amazing property - every detail was beautiful - didn’t want to leave - hope we can stay again! Amazing deck and yard for our dog - great kitchen bathroom and very comfy bed and couch. By far one of the best houses we’ve stayed in!

This is the perfect property if you’re looking to bring your dog to visit Bendigo. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s absolutely stunning, so much larger than expected and beautifully decorated, with nearly all the amenities you could need. My dog Ray and I loved our stay, enjoying the large yard and outdoor patio, relaxing on couches made to be sunk into and personally the bath was a real treat, I had the best sleep in one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in and the kitchen had everything I needed. Location is perfectly situated only a short walk from Bendigo train station, Central Deborah gold mine - where you can jump on the tram to explore the city - and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. There is a lockable garage if you’re bringing the car and only a 5 minute drive from the centre of town, however you have to get the angle right to enter as the curb is quite steep. There were a few things I felt were missing, e.g. different pillow options, washing up brush, extra tea towel, etc., but nothing that would put me off highly recommending Olinda Cottage to anyone. This is a unique, dog-friendly gem that I would happily stay in again when I next visit Bendigo.

Charming, cosy and serene

Loved staying at this welcoming yet immaculate property. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and communicated for guests. With a gorgeous mix of character and contemporary style, we felt completely relaxed and cosy in the house. Recommended if you’d like a bit of luxury in a cosy family setting.

We’ve stayed in many holiday homes during the past twenty years or so, and this one is a standout!Warm when we arrived on a really cold day, beautifully renovated and stunning central location (yet very quiet).The house retains its beautiful heritage features but provides all the modern luxuries. The hosts are generous - chocolate and a really nice bottle of red. A lovely message on our day of arrival, advising us the the house was ready and we were welcome to arrive early. Everything was spotless.Truly, this place is perfect!We will definitely return for a longer stay. Such an interesting town and district!

Delightful cottage

My wife and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Olinda Cottage.Airy and full of light, our hosts have done a magnificent job in presenting a period home with superb comfort, character and amenities. Situated in an historic residential precinct, it was a genuinely relaxing stay.

Dog friendly cottage in Bendigo

Tastefully decorated cottage with great outdoor area and grassed back yard for our small dog.Very cosy with everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Thanks Glenn & Maddy!

Lovely Stay in Quarry Hill

I had a wonderful time at Olinda Cottage in Quarry Hill, Bendigo. The house is beautifully designed and presented to a very high standard. It is also situated close to all the action in town. I felt safe and secure there, particularly as I could park my car in the lock-up garage. It is also a terrific, pet-friendly property with a secure backyard for my dog while I was out exploring during the day. The instructions and communication from Glenn and Maddy were clear, and the wine and chocolate upon arrival were a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

Unwelcomed surprises

The flooring is a shock. It isn't level and almost every board creeks. You can even see through to under the house from the floor in the toilet. The couch and the bed is basically built for someone who is 4'10". Very awkward for older guests.

Bendigo long weekend stay

Very pretty, comfortable cottage, with a deck and garden. We felt very welcome and looked after. Lovely comfortable beds and our dogs were happy to be along too. It was a hot weekend but our hosts had everything ready for us with the aircon already on so we stepped into a lovely cool house.
