This fully renovated cozy cottage has been tastefully decorated and fully stocked with all the comforts of home! King bedroom with flat screen TV and a quiet second bedroom with a queen bed. This cottage also includes a washer and dryer, a private patio with BBQ grill. Relax in the shade while watching the water and the sunset from our dock or take out one of our kayaks for an energizing paddle! Check out our photos and video for a full tour. You will want to come back again and again! Minutes from Publix Grocery and HISTORIC DOWNTOWN MOUNT DORA! This was our second stay at this property! We love the location, it's convenient to Mount Dora as well as the Florida Springs. Property is always super clean and has everything we need. We love that there is a dock to sit and relax and watch the sunset. There are kayaks and a paddleboard to use on the lake. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Nice getaway spot.

Clean and neat. Well equipped and stocked. Nice to be close to the lake and an easy drive into Mt Dora. It is right off a well traveled county road.

Just right

Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the lake due to flooding of the hurricane. It looked beautiful. Would stay again

Very easy check in, clean, exactly as listed The only reason communication was a 3 is because the confirmation and instructions were sent and that was all - so not good and bad just what was required. Thank you, we will be back

Couples / close friends vacay paradise

We stayed here for 5 days and were beyond comfortable the whole time. Fantastic fishing, beautiful sunsets, clear water and fishing / sunbathing on the dock. Very healthy lake. Not milky, swampy, none of that. Almost looks spring fed the way the aquatic vegetation grows perfectly with fish and baitfish abundant in the clear water. Panfish bit off the dock with bread and worms! As a Floridian, I’ve fished a lot of unhealthy and swampy waters, this lake is far from it. I wish all of our lakes were like this one! I brought my kayak and fished most of the time, probably caught 30+ bass just around the nearby reeds and shorelines. A few wake boarders, so just keep an eye out if you’re yakking. Lightning is the coolest, most friendliest cat I’ve known. Curls up in your lap and naps while you’re sitting outside. Extremely sweet to us. We are pretty private, and enjoy solitude on vacation, and even though the property shares the amenities, the other renters were equally as private, quiet, respectful and kind. Both were older couples on either side of us and were very nice people. The host is extremely communicative and helpful. Property is kept up very well, as well as all amenities. Nothing broken or unavailable to use. The homes seem to be very very modern, lovely new kitchen, great internet, easy to work from here too. I recommend checking out charming downtown Mount Dora and enjoying the lake as much as you can. I’ll be back for sure.

Wonderful property and location

Perfect for our stay. Location was great - easy drive to Mt Dora and golf courses. Unit was lovely. So so clean and comfortable. It’s not often we get a good nights sleep when away from home but this bed was great. Lake proximity and views just beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great place at a great price

My family really enjoyed our stay at the lake cottage. Everything was very clean and new. We especially liked the beautiful lake view from dock. There was a very large yard for the kids to run around in. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great place!!

The place is centrally located and is immaculate. The appliances and furniture were clean. Overall, it was one of the most pleasant stays we've had at a vrbo and we have stayed at many.

Amazing place, Not such an amazing greeting.

This is really an amazing place to stay at. Except, one thing I would recommend is that Bobbi and her mother get on the same page when guests will be arriving. When we backed into the driveway, the first thing we hear when we get out of the car is, “Can I help you?” I said, “we are here for the VRBO” Then she said, “I don’t think so, I’m Bobbi’s mother, we aren’t expecting anybody until tomorrow.” Then she kept watching us while she was on the phone to confirm that we were supposed to be there. I even unlocked the door with the code and told her that my code unlocked the door. Then she proceeded to tell us to keep the front door shut while we were bringing our bags inside so we wouldn’t let the air out. We pretty much just ignored her from that point. Also, we don’t mind using well-water either but on the first night, the water didn’t have the well-water smell, the second night, it did. So I don’t know if that was some kind of coincidence, just thought I’d mention it. It was just a bad customer service with the mom. We followed all of the rules and took pictures of how clean we left the place. Again, it’s a very beautiful and quiet property near my favorite town of Mount Dora but we definitely won’t be staying here in the future. God Bless, y’all.

My favorite fishing hole

Great property. Always clean and maintained. On gorgeous Lake Ola, which I have caught many brim. Looking forward to staying there again. Maybe longer next time

I grew up in Florida and fell in love with Mt Dora when we moved to the area in 2014. As a local Realtor, I have a natural love for real estate! My husband is a touring musician, entertainer and pretty much travels for a living. Getting into Vacation rentals was a natural fit for both of us! We love to entertain and make our guests comfortable!
