Very unique "Tiki Hut" in downtown Mt Dora!! This home sits on over an acre with plenty of outdoor seating, firepit, deck off the master and a large observation deck perfect for viewing the local wildlife. At the end of the street there is a city park with a mountain bike trail, dog park, racquet ball courts and a frisbee course. Luxury King bed and WiFi. Come feel like you're in the islands right down the street from everything Mt Dora has to offer. Plenty of room for boat and RV parking!!

Unique property with very large outdoor area. Pups could run and play with no rear neighbors. Nice fire pit for cool night fires. "Tiki" was exactly as advertised with everything you need for a week's stay. Location was perfect as it is only a 5 minute drive / Uber from downtown.

The Tiki Hut at Mt. Dora is the most lovely hidden gem! Cozy, clean, and with a calming atmosphere inside and out, we had no problems relaxing before the Mt. Dora Half-Marathon. There were plenty of amenities and supplies of every kind, and beautiful tiki-hut themed decor everywhere you look. The backyard was phenomenally spacious as well, with incredible opportunities for beautiful photos or moments with wonderful company. A key point too is that it's within walking distance of downtown, which is SUCH a life-saver in a small-town with limited parking on a crowded holiday weekend night!

We really enjoyed spending the weekend here for a wedding in town. We managed to catch the Christmas parade in downtown Mt.Dora, which was a lovely town.The place was easy to find and the price was reasonable. My only note, I wished the floors were cleaner, lots of dirt left behind which really made my partner uncomfortable. The shower was very nice and the bed was comfortable. AC worked very well and generally the place had a LOT of charm.

Quaint and private

Pleased with the privacy it offered. Lots of space for our dog. Small kitchen area. It had a very comfortable bed and it was nicely decorated and quaint. The decks it offered and chairs were great and watching the sunrise and sunset from the back deck was very enjoyable. We hope to come again.

Fun and Happy Place

If you are looking for a fun place with a relaxed atmosphere and and "cool" factor that makes exploring Mount Dora easy, this is it. We had very responsive communication with Steve and really enjoyed our stay!

Picture Perfect

The photos on the website do not capture the beauty of the setting nor the uniqueness of the Tiki Hut. We sat out every morning and enjoyed the serenity and picturesque view from the back deck. The location is 5 minutes from downtown, where we had no trouble parking. We will be returning!

Exactly as advertised. The Tiki Hut is a great spot for a few days of rest and relaxation. Great property, well outfitted and the most comfortable bed ever!

Unique property

We enjoyed the whimsical Tiki Hut. We have stayed in many properties over the years in Mount Dora. This one was super fun! The back yard was amazing & really indescribable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck outside our bedroom, have our coffee & enjoy all of the different types of birds waking up as we sat & took in the beauty of our surroundings. Steve our contact person was great. We had to drive downtown, as it isn’t within a comfortable walking distance for us. This is really the best kind of getaway… feels like your out in the country while at the cottage yet a short drive to downtown Mount Dora. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Tiki Hut!

Magical Tiki Hut

This property is well appointed with all the amenities to ensure a flawless stay. The property sits on an enormous yard with a large deck, fire pit, hammock, and large split tree which totally adds to its charm. I felt like I was in the Shire. Would definitely stay here again! The host was immediate to respond with any questions I had.

The Perfect Getaway!

This place is exactly like pictured. Very cute, immaculately clean and location is prime! Just a couple streets away from downtown Mt. Dora. Such a pleasant experience. Check in was a breeze, and so was communication. You will not be disappointed, and I would definitely stay again!

Quiet and super property. Prime location

Excellent property. Exactly as described and listed. Perfect for us to hit all the nearby springs and state parks. Very close to downtown which has loads of food, drink, and shopping options. Fast communication when needed and very safe.

Perfect Escape

This place was awesome! The yard is gorgeous, the tiki hut is so cute, and the location was perfect. I hope to come back for a longer stay.
