best time to go is summer so you can take advantage of the swimming area, the rooms were clean, however do suggest two single beds in the second room as a double is just too big. The views are stunning; the host was very nice and easy to deal with. Being pet friendly allowed us to take our old dog to smell the countryside. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch as it was my partners 60th and must appreciate. We had to leave early but will take the host up and take the 2 days spare at a later time. Over all i would score this bookabach a 4 out 5

Thanks for sharing your experience at our cottage—we’re glad you enjoyed the views, swimming area and that the wine helped celebrate the special occasion. Regarding the 2nd bedroom, guests can have the beds as 2 singles or a double. We look forward to welcoming you back for those extra days soon.

The location of this home was perfect for our planned activities in Abel Tasman. Yvette was helpful with our questions and we appreciated her dining recommendations. The view from the deck is incredible - we saw the most stunning sunset! A bonus was the curious but shy sheep we could watch from the window.

We live locally and were searching for a quiet getaway that was both kid-friendly and dog-friendly—this cottage was exactly what we needed! The peaceful setting was perfect for our family, and our dogs loved exploring the grounds. The pond was definitely the highlight of our stay—our kids couldn't get enough of it and spent hours playing there. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely perfect in every possible way! Very easy to settle in, with everything needed for great stay. A beautiful, serene environment with close proximity to all this wonderful region has to offer. This will be the standard for how other vacation stays will compare in the future. If you are reading this review and considering booking, don’t hesitate. Five big stars to the excellent hosts.
