Description is NOT accurate! You don’t have a house to yourself, they rent out 2 additional bedrooms and kitchen-bathrooms are shared. Host spoke broken English and said couldn’t use washer or dryer even though it’s listed in description. Would have stayed elsewhere if knew this information!! Would definitely not recommend this place!!

So very clean! A lovely house with warm fire and clean comfortable beds. Was a bit worried about check in as communication could ha e been better but it all worked fine. The owners were in an attached property which we would have liked to know but they were very quiet and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed to find that the property was shared accommodation, despite being advertised as an entire villa with 4 bedrooms. The listing also stated that there were three bathrooms, when in fact there was not. The owners were very deceitful and conveniently used their lack of English when we brought to their intentions their false advertising and our discomfort with sharing the home with two other couples we did not know. The owners were staying out the back and we also suspected they intended to come into the house to use the one bathroom and kitchen/lounge. We were left in Westport with no accommodation due to the Coast to Coast and Buller Marathon on so we all had return home, missing out on competing in the Buller. Unfortunately, we later discovered that other guests had reported similar misleading and dishonest advertising. I strongly urge people not to book it unless you’re ok sharing one bathroom and shared areas with others.
