The Yurt at Ōraka Colac Bay

Welcome to The Yurt at Ōraka, a romantic haven nestled above picturesque Colac Bay. Built as a place of connection - with nature, yourself and loved ones - our yurt is the perfect place to reset and relax. Star gazing enthusiasts will delight in the view of the night sky from the deck (and the outdoor bath!).



By day you`ll enjoy the stunning views across the bay. The Yurt at Ōraka is a unique and magical getaway that will make you feel closer to nature and to each other.



The yurt features a comfortable queen bed, an indoor fire, a wood-fired bath, and a separate kitchen and bathroom. The project is all about connection - to nature, to self, to the people with you at the yurt - hence no internet and the re-wilding of the garden.



Due to the nature of the section and amenities, this property is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.



Much like a tent, the yurt brings you closer to the elements outside - it can be noisy in the wind and rain but you will be perfectly comfortable inside!
