Located on beautiful Baptiste Lake, this cottage property is highly-sought after since it has everything you need to enjoy a holiday on the lake. Large family cottage on a level lot with a sandy beach and shallow entry which is perfect for kids! Warm pine interiors, maple flooring and a great view of the lake.

You will need to bring your own bed linens, sheets and towels as well as bath essentials like shampoo, soap, etc. Kitchen essentials such as pots, pans, cutlery are provided. There are four queen beds, and two bunk beds (4 single beds) with twin mattresses.

Between the peak months of June to September, the cottage is rented weekly. With check-in on Saturday night and check out on the following Saturday morning. For further details or to book during these months please contact us.

Baptiste Lake is a large, beautiful lake located in Herschel township, Bancroft. This lake is approx 2226 hectares and part of a three lake chain with Benoir and Elephant Lakes. It offers some 36 miles of boating with a maximum depth of about 32 meters. Fish species include Lake Trout, Muskellunge, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Rock Bass, Yellow Perch, Pumpkinseed and Walleye. From what we hear, the fishing is great on this lake!

Bancroft and the county of North Hastings offer an excellent snowmobiling destination. There are over 350 km of groomed trails throughout the area, abundant snowfall, snowmobile clubs and club activities. Why not come and spend some time on your sled in Bancroft this winter!

It is about 15 minutes from the town of Bancroft, and an hour south of Algonquin Park.
