Discover our cozy Muskoka guest cottage just a short 5 minute drive from Huntsville's vibrant Main Street. This charming retreat makes a great home base for all your adventures exploring Muskoka & beyond.

- **Note that there is no full size oven or stove**.

Electric Fireplace- Located in the living room with simple controls inside the unit door. Enjoy the flickering flames with or without the heat function—perfect for any season! Please remember to turn it off when checking out.

- fire pit (seasonally maintained April-November, weather permitting). Note the fire pit is not maintained/available during winter months due to weather conditions.

Parking- The cottage features its own dedicated driveway with room for two cars. Note that the driveways have an incline to them. For the smoothest experience, we suggest doing a 3-point turn at the top of the cottage driveway so you can head out forward- much easier especially in winter!

Heading our way in the winter? To ensure you have no trouble with the snowy inclines, please make sure your vehicle is equipped with winter tires. We’ll send you a quick "Arrival Map" before your stay to show you exactly which entrance to take!

Pets- Traveling with a dog? We are happy to welcome one well-behaved dog ($90 pet fee). To maintain our high standard of cleanliness, we require that pets stay off all furniture and linens. Outside, please keep your dog on a leash at all times—this ensures a peaceful environment, as our neighbours have dogs nearby (separated securely by an invisible fence). We appreciate you cleaning up after your pet and disposing of waste responsibly in the woods or in the garbage. Please do not leave dog waste on our lawn.

Fire Pit:
- Starlit Bonfires- Nothing says "Muskoka" like a crackling fire under the stars. Our fire pit is ready for your enjoyment from spring through fall (April–November- weather permitting).
Safety First: To keep our forest beautiful, please follow local bylaws (no daytime burning) and use the dedicated hose on the pond-side of the cottage to fully extinguish your fire before heading in.
Helpful Tip: We provide lighters inside the cottage and try to keep some wood on hand in the utility room at the side of the cottage.

Note: The fire pit is not typically available from November to March/April due to weather conditions.

Beaches/Water Access- Local nearby beaches are Avery Beach & Hutcheson Beach, while Arrowhead Park and Port Sydney offer very cute beaches & are only a short drive from the property as well. Note that the property is not waterfront but has lake access points just down Brunel road, as well as at the public docks in the centre of town.

Other:
- Full size laundry machines are available in the utility room, as well as a large chest freezer for longer stays.
- The cottage is located on a large property, approximately 100 feet from the main house that may be rented simultaneously, but offering privacy. We always do our best to inform guests at both units if the other one will be occupied during their stay.
