Hello, Our names are Chad & Tera. We are offering our log cabin for rent which is situated on a beautiful well maintained activity filled 13 acres of open grass and wooded trails. We are a established Super host on other platform as well. I have 30 years of hospitably expertise and I look forward to helping you make memories for your family to reflect on on for decades to come.
The house is a open concept fully stocked galley kitchen, on a delicious artesian well. There is 3 ponds which house wildlife such as cat fish and minnows. Deer, turkeys frequent the property and are always happy for your veggie scraps. The odd moose will meander in from time to time. The home is private with neighbors separated by a piece of forest. Dogs are welcome and there is a invisible fence on property just bring your collar. Hot tub available upon request for groups of 4 or less. Security cameras are on site to ensure the safety of my guests and to protect my home. No devices are inside the home. They just cover exits and yards to protect us all.

We had a wonderful 4 days at this beautiful cabin. The kitchen is well-equipped and we cooked most of our meals in it. The property is really well maintained and absolutely glorious this time of year. There was a good supply of apples on the porch for the deer which visit several times each day and we loved having that personal interaction with them. All in all, it was a very enjoyable, peaceful and restful vacation for us.

This cottage is everything and more than you could ask for. Very clean and bright. Lot to do in home and in surrounding areas. The communication with the host was excellent he answered me right away. Very pleasent to speek with. Everything they advertised was there and they supplied extras toiletries. All the detailes were written out very clearing within the home. We would come back again, and rate this cottage 10 out of 10. Thank you again.

Superb getaway to relax

We really enjoyed our stay. It was pleasant to relax. We visited the lovely downtowns of both Huntsville and Bracebridge.

Perfect girls weekend

Amazing weekend away, the log cabin is beautiful and very welcoming. Any questions we had were answered promptly. So nice just relaxing in the hot tub and taking in the view. Definitely planning to rent this beautiful spot again

Great place with some caveats

It’s absolutely a beautiful cabin. The fireplace is awesome, the hot tub is great and the property is beautiful. Be aware though that you’re gonna pay much more than the listing price. Everything is an extra cost. The hot tub is extra, the fire wood is extra and not cheap, pets are extra, plus every person is a significant additional cost. Not additional people, every person. It all adds up very quickly to much more than the listing price. Additionally you’ll feel like the host doesn’t really want you there. There are signs everywhere about what to do and not do. A quarter of the rooms are locked. The heat is set to 19 and you can’t change it, plus the space heater is chained up in the basement so you can’t do anything but keep a fire going all the time with expensive firewood. Add the many cameras set up around the property including one directly at the hot tub and you don’t really ever feel very welcome or relaxed. I can completely understand the hosts desire to keep their place safe and avoid bad guests, but it leaves good guests looking for other places that don’t feel so monitored. Beautiful cabin none the less and the host was very kind and helpful. If you’re ok with the above things I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Beautiful Log Cabin

Stayed here with some friends for a few nights this summer and had an excellent time. Clean, spacious cabin with a large communal great room. Lots of activities and lots to explore. Communication with the host was straight-forward and easy. Thanks again!

wonderful spacious cabin in the woods but close to town

we spent just under a week. Great home. Close to town but far enough out to be totally peaceful. Deer everywhere. Lots of space. More rooms than we realized, there are 2 pairs of bunk beds downstairs and another room with a big bed and a small futon that gave the kids their own space entirely. Kitchen has all the pots and pans and coffee brewing (bring your own pods for the Keurig or Nespresso coffee machines) or use their re-usable pods. The Jacuzzi was very nice, the screened porch was lovely to keep cool in the evenings without having to battle the mosquitoes. Plenty of parking, fresh eggs available for purchase from the next door neighbour. Very fun! Very clean. Very comfy.

Worst stay anywhere

Scammers!!! Worst stay ever be cautious. Take before and after photos they will try and pin past damages of their own purse dog on you. Place was dingy and musty and not as described. Pictures insinuate your in the water but your nowhere near.

Wicked log cabin

Travelling from Nova Scotia, Chad was prompt in answering questions on the road. Once my pup and I arrived Chad checked in periodically to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for. Indeed it was and decided to book an additional couple of nights as it was beyond our expectations!

I chose this location, as I was born and rasied in Huntsville and know all there is to know to pass along to my guests.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The property is situated on a beautiful spectrum of land. The yard is open and clear, it has room to golf, disc golf, bocce ball, corn hole etc... You can the venture into my cut and maintained trails in the woods. You venture though evergreen groves cross multiple bridges built by my family on your way to a sugar bush that's being re instated. The home is close too, two lakes. Hutcheson Beach which is the best beach in town is only 6 minutes away. Waseosa public dock is only 2 minutes away.

Local shopping and places to eat are very close and ample.
Algonquin and Arrowhead provincial parks are all easily reached.
