My wife and I enjoyed our stay behind the "little door." The apartment was cozy and more than big enough for the two of us, who really only spent mornings and nights there, as there's so much to do. The location on the Quebec city wall is great, and we spent a number of evenings sitting on a bench looking at the St. Lawrence.
Carol is very nice and offered lots of suggestions for places to eat and visit.
One small issue: perhaps this is just an August thing, but upon arrival Carol noted we'd need to periodically empty the water tray in a humidifier plugged in to a wall in the living room, which seemed like no big deal. But it beeps five times when it's full, and that happened in the middle of our first night. After that, we made sure to empty it before bed, but it needed emptying more than once most days. Not a huge deal, but maybe there's a workaround?
The place is great, though, and we'd be happy to go again.
