You’ll enjoy quiet, ocean breezes and plenty of open space in DandD By the Sea, a beautiful single-level home on a ridge above the sea near Neskowin. Designed for relaxation, this home features contemporary furnishings, sleek surfaces, and sumptuous bedrooms, making it a wonderful spot to share with another couple or small family. Recliners in the living room look out to rolling foothills with the ocean on the horizon, a frame for gorgeous sunsets and clear morning light. The fully equipped kitchen has an ocean view over the sink, stainless-steel appliances, and sparkling counters ready to support your dinner plans. The pretty queen bedroom features an adjustable bed for optimal comfort and a bath across the hall. The king suite has its TV. Your peaceful spot is conveniently located between the busy activity of Lincoln City and tourist fun in Tillamook, where the Air Museum and Tillamook Creamery make for a great day trip. Neskowin’s sweet village has a restaurant and scenic beaches just five minutes by car, and Pacific City has fine dining, craft brewing and fantastic Haystack Rock and Cape Kiwandan, ten minutes in the other direction. After a day of exploration, you’ll marvel at the sunset as you enjoy a fire in the outdoor fire-pit in your cottage by the sea.

We got settled next day we realized we each had half a roll of toilet paper, same with paper towels. 3/4 roll. We purchased in town.A pizza roller cutter would be nice. Herds of Elk outside house was a bit of a surprise Lovely view house was nice!

The house was clean , the view was beautiful . Check in was great . We had a wonderful time . There is a problem with a small bear getting into the garage even though the owner has the can built in and had a big brick . He came to visit 2 nights in a row . Was little afraid to let my pups out side . But he was cute

Quiet neighborhood. Hardly noticed anybody. Clean and new. Perfect location to come back to after a long day at the beach. Great for our dogs. Two big beds. Thumbs up.

This place generally met our needs for a 3 day stay. Biggest complaint was the lawn was NOT as pictured on the website. Grass hadn't been cut and was 10-12 inches high, so could not sit in chairs and enjoy the outside firepit. Meredith Lodging responded quickly to my text but could not get a contractor to cut lawn while we were there. Given this was the 3 days before Memorial Day weekend, I'd say that's poor planning and maintenance oversight.Other than that it was a very quiet neighborhood, clean accommodations, comfortable bed, and very plush/soft towels. Killer view of the ocean from the recliners inside. WIne lovers beware. They only have 1 stemless wine glass, so I was thankful I brought my own favorite stemmed wine glass with me.

This was overall an excellent spot for my family of 4 to stay. The place looked even nicer in-person than in the photos. Very clean and tidy. It’s in a quiet neighborhood on the hills overlooking the ocean. It’s about a 2-minute drive to Neskowin Beach. There were extra linens and towels, and plenty of things like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dish soap, TP, and paper towels.A few things to note at least as of summer 26 - There was no dishwasher or clothing detergent, so plan accordingly. The kitchen was pretty well stocked in regard to plates, silverware, cups, pots, pans, and bakeware (they even had a pizza pan, pizza cutter, and 6-cupcake pan), but limited compared to other vacation rentals I’ve stayed at for things like spices. It’d be nice if they had some basic spices beyond salt and pepper, such as garlic powder. A minor thing, but just something I’ve gotten used to I guess. There isn’t a lot in the town of Neskowin - a provisions store which has some basics along with deli foods, and a small restaurant down the street, but there are many places close by with lots of amenities, such as Lincoln City, Tillamook, and Pacific City. Neskowin Beach is pretty ok, but that beach along with Lincoln City’s were really rocky with lots of broken shells, so water shoes were a must for us (we found some at Tillamook Fred Meyer), but the beaches just a bit north had much smoother and finer sand, like Pacific City onward. It was overall a lovely place to stay and we’d stay again!
