What a wonderful home just as advertised plus more. We spent the days sight seeing on the South Shore....nice and handy to Chester, Mahone Bay, LiverPool etc. So basically mornings and evenings spent here. Orientation is for afternoon sun and awesome evening sunsets. Large windows with motorized blinds so no issues with excess heat. We have the same orientation at home so knew to close the blinds while away. Not pictured was comfortable outdoor furniture which is where we spent the evenings enjoying the beautiful view, the deer and Canada Geese. Would definitely love to stay again.

What a beautiful stay in Nova Scotia! This location has an amazing view and the hot tub is in the perfect place for beholding its glory during sunset. The host was very responsive especially when we had a rapid change of plans that led us to booking this Vrbo.That said, there were a few small gripes I think should be mentioned. In the hot summer of 2025, this place turned into a sauna during the daytime because of just how much heat the sun was putting out. I don't think the AC was able to keep up until the sun set in the evenings. Luckily there's some windows and a strong breeze that helps cool the house.The other gripe is just how much of the diverse wildlife was prone to entering the house. I saw about a dozen spiders in prime locations near the entrances and outdoor stairs, and about 6 spiders inside the house (including one that appeared on my pillow as I was sleeping, gross!)Overall the location is amazing and we had a great time. Thanks!
