This cottage is amazing and couldn't ask for a better location. The views are wonderful and the sunsets spectacular. Very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Claire is very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions I had. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

You wont be disappointed!! Peggys Cove is a cute spot with local artists, food options and a lighthouse. The cottage has everything you will need overlooking the harbor. Clean and cozy with beautiful views!

Everything was just as I expected. My hosts,Clair and Paul were very accommodating. Kitchen had all we needed. Amazing views. My whole stay will be something I will cherish. The one hour boat tour is a must. For anyone searching for a seaside getaway,this is the place and the accommodations were excellent

Wir hatten fantastische Urlaubstage in diesem wunderschönen Cottage. Die Kommunikation mit Claire hat von Anfang an sehr gut funktioniert. Im Haus war alles wie beschrieben vorhanden und unsere Kinder mochten den großen Kühlschrank. Auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und das Kommen und gehen der Touristenströme zu sehen, war besser als TV!Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und würden hier definitiv wieder buchen. Absolute Empfehlung. Vielen Dank, Claire !

We booked a 4 night stay in this quaint cottage in Peggy's Cove.The booking and check-in process was smooth and communication with the host was excellent. The cottage is beautiful and located in the heart of the village of Peggy's Cove. The kitchen is well appointed and great for cooking any meal. Living room is comfortable and the cottage has a large dining area. The bedrooms are large enough to comfortably sleep 5 people in total. The bed in the master bedroom is incredibly comfortable.You'll be located at the head of the cove and easily within minutes walking distance to all the galleries, museums, gift shops, and restaurants Peggy's Cove has to offer (including the Sou'Wester).We would definitely rent this cottage on future vacations!

Amazing location & House

House is in the accrual Peggy's Cove and you can walk to light house and restaurants!Super cute & cozy house with full kitchen and washing machine.Owner of this house is also VERY nice, too!!!

Simply Beautiful

My parents and I spent 4 nights at this idyllic seaside home on our Nova Scotia visit.The exterior, WOW, you would find a hilltop home like this in a fairy tale book. The location is perfect, at the back of the village in an elevated spot overlooking the small harbour with a view of the top of the famous lighthouse. At night the red glow of the light is easily seen from all windows.The home is on green land with many beautiful plants and a multitude of bird species serenade you as you enjoy the deck watching the boats in the harbour.Want to walk to the lighthouse? It's barely five minutes from your backdoor - Hot Tip - go before 8am and you'll have the lighthouse to yourself for the best photographs without a tourist in sight - bar yourself that is!!Inside a respectfully decorated, cosy home, in keeping with the area and its history. Comfortable beds with nice linens, plenty of towels and everything you could want from your home from homes. Tip, bring Keurig Cups for the coffee maker and you're good to go!Minor point, suggestion, keep a couple of windows open as the fresh air makes the inside feel fresh and relaxed.There are a handful of food options within a few minutes walk, as long as seafood is your thing. Another tip, less than an hour away we found a pub in Mahone Bay called the Mug and Anchor which we loved and returned to again!Peggys Cove is stunning in its own right , but also an excellent base to explore the area. We ventured as far as Keji Harbour Rocks!

Anniversary Trip

You could not ask for a better host than Claire! She was so kind to us during our stay. The house was just as described and the perfect place for us to stay for our 30th anniversary trip to Nova Scotia. The views were amazing, the beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed the cozy fire. The deck was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Nearby Polly's Cove is a beautiful hike. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful and cozy gem!

This cozy cottage and its setting is idyllic. Amazing views from each room. A beautiful home decorated with such care and thoughtful touches throughout. So very comfortable in every aspect - the perfect place to curl up with a book and periodically look out to enjoy the beauty of this place. Kitchen well equipped and all that we could have needed. I will definitely miss this incredible mix of beauty and comfort. - I was fortunate to meet Claire, the most gracious and fun hostess. Had the opportunity to have conversations with her and she is the picture of delight. Thank you Claire (and Paul) for your vision of this house that you so lovingly restored.

Peggy's Cove Vacation Getaway

Location, location, location. In the heart of Peggy's Cove it was a prime location to enjoy the sights and sounds of what the area offers. Claire was amazing as a host and was available to answer any questions we had and made the vacation that much more enjoyable. We definitely would not hesitate to go back.

Perfect Place

What a beautiful place! Cute cottage, wonderful views and great location. Claire, owner, was so easy to deal with, answering all questions and giving suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. Very clean and our bed was super comfortable. It was a delightful visit to this charming cottage…. And to meet Claire! (Paul, her husband was out of town.)

Simply Lovely

We had such a wonderful time at this wonderful, lovely cottage by the sea. We loved the historic charm of this beautiful home! Claire is the kindest, friendliest, most helpful host ever! The location is outstanding and the view out of every window looks like a picture postcard. Peggy's Cove is the quintessential seaside fishing village and we loved every minute of our time there. We would love to come back and stay again!
