The house was beautiful, very comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay.The only downside was that we specifically booked this property because it was advertised as pet friendly. While the property itself certainly was, the neighbours clearly aren't as welcoming of dogs. We returned from going out to find a rather unpleasant letter stuck to the door after our dogs had barked while they were outside during the day. It left us feeling a little uncomfortable and detracted from an otherwise lovely stay. Dogs can bark in unfamiliar environments. We did everything we could to keep them settled, including leaving them with their own beds in the garage, enrichment toys, and pig's ears. Even so, dogs may still bark at people walking past or at other dogs barking nearby. If you're travelling with dogs, I'd probably consider a different property, as the surrounding neighbours don't seem particularly tolerant of normal dog behaviour.
