Fantastic location within easy walking distance to the waterfront. Communication with Peter and Jessica, our hosts, was excellent. Could not be happier with the experience.

Location could not have been better. The property was spacious with plenty of amenities. Getting in and getting out of the gated property was very easy. On-street parking was a bit of a drag, but we managed. As usual, Halifax was a great city to visit. we would stay there again.

Wonderful apartment in a nice part of Halifax - quiet but close to the Public Gardens and the Citadel. Large grocery store nearby. Communications from Peter were excellent. Great stay!

Peter was an excellent host who assisted with accessing the property in a timely manner. Super cute basement apartment in a great, walkable location. Parking is a bit of a challenge as you need to park away from the unit in specific parking zones which are not available where the unit is located. Quiet location with a sweet coffee nook on the patio where two little kittens would join us daily. We named them Seamus and Jewel. We found the unit to be quite dark and would benefit from better lighting solutions. Would absolutely recommend for singles or couples visiting the city.

Very comfortable and well decorated flat for two folks needing to attend a conference at Dalhousie. Close to lots of sites in downtown Halifax - good for walking and easy bus access. Garden seating and flowers would have been used and appreciated if better weather and more time. Would use this spot again.

Nice roomy apartment. Wonderful host who made everything easy for two old people. Well equipped and comfortable. Walkable to downtown and cool weather! We enjoyed our two week stay.

Great stay, highly recommend this property and location if you are visiting Halifax! The property itself was very clean and fairly private for being in a busier area. Assuming one doesn't have health impediments, it is very walkable to many parts of the city, including Point Pleasant Park, Spring Garden Road, the Public Gardens, the Seaport Farmer's Market, the universities, and downtown restaurants. It is also only 2 blocks from a Sobeys for grocery needs. We had a rental car, and street parking was easy to find within 2 blocks every time we needed it, with a 1-week parking pass only costing 39 CAD via the city website. The hosts were very responsive to communication, typically within 30 minutes, and were able to answer all questions.

Great urban getaway

Lovey Victorian flat. Spacious, stylish and comfortable. Beautiful private back garden with bistro table. Very close to hospitals, downtown, and Point Pleasant Park. Kitchen is equipped with small fridge, kettle, toaster, coffeemaker and two-burner hot plate. Ideal for travellers on the go!

Very clean property. There was a little mix up/misunderstanding with the check-in process but the property manager was very helpful and communicative, and we had that sorted out with no problem. Location was within 20-minute walk to the city centre. Thank you very much for accommodating my husband and I during our beginning leg of our vacation.

Cool basement apartment ideally located in Halifax’s South End, a short walk to downtown. The apartment was nicely renovated, well equipped and cozy. Communication with the owner was clear and timely. I’d definitely stay here again.
