Welcome to The Kode—a freshly designed 1-bedroom + loft retreat with midcentury coastal charm. With cozy beds, a pullout couch, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large sunny patio, it’s perfect for unwinding or exploring. Just a 10-min stroll to the lakefront, passing charming shops and cafés along the way. You’ll have full access to the unit and ample free parking, including space for a boat or water toys—no need to worry about downtown parking fees.

The space
On the main floor, you'll find the primary bedroom, a cozy living area, a full bathroom with in-suite laundry, and a well-equipped kitchen with a dining space. Step outside through the patio doors to enjoy a large, sunny, south-facing patio with a BBQ.

Up a steep spiral staircase is the second bedroom loft, which overlooks the dining area below. This upper-level bedroom also features an attached half bathroom.

Please note there is no air conditioning - fans are provided in each bedroom.

Quick getaway

My husband and I needed a quick getaway and this was the perfect spot. Close walk to all the main streets. The best part is we could bring our for babies

Six of us visited for a family holiday and we really enjoyed our stay! The yard was big with plenty of space to sunlounge, play or sit around the fire. It's important to note that the property it set out best for 4 people, with only 4 chairs provided around the kitchen table, and it's a bit further away than expected from the beach (about a 10 minute walk). We would also recommend bringing additional kitchen items required, as the cooking/baking dishes are quite limited, and an axe/firewood for a fire if desired.Overall a lovely place to stay, we would recommend!

Location and having a big deck was bery nice also the beds were very comfortable. When I arrived we had no dish towels and I was able to contact the host and towels were nrought over right away
