Hidden Log Cabin Deep in Elk Country -Grand Canyon


Our cabin was built with our own hands, every log was laid and chinked with love. It sits on a 10 acre parcel, and the national forest is our backyard. Big windows to see the beautiful ponderosa pine forest, with elk and deer passing by. Spacious living area, with a fully equipped kitchen. You cannot see our neighbors, for they are all acres away. If you want a glamorous campsite, then our place is for you. Lots of trails for hiking, biking. skiing and your OHV's. We also have central cooling and heating for your convenience and Starlink WIFI! Nearest amenities are 10 miles away. We are south of the Grand Canyon, in Parks, Az. Relax after a long hike in our large Jacuzzi!

It felt like a home, not a rental. Having the USFS property out the backdoor made for fabulous wild life viewing. It was thrilling to hear the elk bugling. We felt safe and enjoyed our trip.

Fantastic property to get away from it all. Plenty of open area, away from main roads, allowing for peace and relaxation. Easyvto find, simple check in, clean and inviting. Chocolates and wine waiting for our arrival!! Comfortable beds and all the amenities you need. Will definitely be back for yet another trip.

Parks Out in the Beautiful Country

Veronica, we had a very memorable time staying at your beautiful cabin. The cabin was very roomy and a great location for our family.We did alot of exploring and hiking.We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and made memories to last a lifetime.Woke up to deer in the backyard. Fabulous stay

This cabin is wonderful. Book it! We enjoyed everything about this property and the area. It’s a wonderful nature setting with all the amenities you’d need/want. The hot tub was the highlight. Beds were comfy. Everything was clean. Owner was responsive. No complaints whatsoever. We will be back!

2024 Cow Elk Season

Beautiful location deep in zone 7w. Weather conditions were less than ideal this year, but nothing to do with the property. The ammenities were perfect and the location provide easy access to usually prime hunting spots.

Excellent experience off the beaten path

I had tickets to the Polar Express in Williams and wanted to give my kids more of a cabin experience during our stay north of the valley This cabin did not disappoint! It was plenty big for my three kids and provided endless views from each of the cabin's many windows. The Starlink internet worked flawlessly and the hot tub was a wonderful relaxation spot to wrap up each day. Lastly, the host was easy to work with, only adding to the experience. We look forward to returning again next year!

Grand Canyon trip

Wonderful Cabin in the Woods

My wife and I spent a week here and couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot! We used it as a central point to go to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, Williams, Flagstaff and the Petrified Forest. The hot tub was so relaxing in the evenings and if you are up late enough you can hear the elk. The house had everything you need with lots of space. If you are looking for a great location this is it!

Great Cabin

Great place to stay and super responsive host. Cabin was a wonderful place to come to after a long day hunting and the hot tub topped it all off. Will use again if available and drawn in the future.

Amazing!

We have spent the last month touring AZ & CA and have stayed in some fabulous properties, but when we walked through the front door of Veronica's home the reaction was just ‘wow’ Everything you could possibly want or need in a beautiful location. If I’m ever back in the Parks area this would be our #1 choice of place to stay

Amazing Property!

We had a great time watching the chipmunks and the hummingbirds as well as listening to the elks bugle in the morning. The property was clean and offered a great base camp to activities such as The Grand Canyon. Veronica was a gracious host, can't wait to come back!

Hidden Cabin

We are so glad that we found your “Hidden Cabin” on VRBO. The welcome wine and chocolates were inviting and unexpected. It was the perfect place to unwind and recap in hot tub after all our daily adventures! The hummingbirds were an hourly enjoyment along with the visiting mule deer. We saw a white tailed squirrel which we don’t see at home in Arkansas. Thank you for letting us check in and enjoy your relaxing home.

Better that we expected

The cabin was perfect, with solid logs in and out, no visible homes nearby, and beautiful forest views from the front and back porch. We shared the place with another couple and we were all very comfortable with the bedroom separation. During "TV time" we could have used another couch or chair, we ended up bringing in a swivel one from the back porch. The location was perfect for long walks and a friend with flagstaffebiketours dot com, company brought bikes over and we went for a wonderful 10-mile ride on the forest road

Very nice cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s surrounded by woods which makes for a very peaceful stay. It had a jacuzzi and the beds were comfortable. The description of getting to and into the cabin were very clear. The drive to south entrance of the Grand Canyon took us about an hour, but the location of the cabin was very beautiful. The house was very clean. Make sure to do some grocery shopping before you come here though as no grocery stores are nearby. We really recommend staying at this cabin!!

I am a retired teacher and my husband is a retired Firefighter. We spent all of our Summer/Fall up at our cabin, teaching our daughter about nature. We spent our time hunting, riding, fishing, skiing, spelunking and hiking. So much to do in Parks, Az.! We absolutely love it there. Our cabin is a labor of love and we will never sell it, so we decided to rent it out to other folks, who'd enjoy the mountains and wildlife.

Our daughter is now in high school and we are looking forward to staying in other people's VRBO's and do a little more travelling of our own. We didn't want our cabin to get lonely, so we thought others, who love nature and the mountains, might enjoy a stay at our cabin.

Wildlife everywhere. Grand Canyon is an hour away, Historic Williams, Grand Canyon Railway, Ice Cave, Deer Farm, Bearizona , skiing. and lots and lots of trails to ride or hike on! Great for OHV"S! 7W is a premier hunting unit in AZ.
