Make memories of a lifetime at the “Lake Cottage”
On a private gravel road right on the Lake
1.5 hours north of Chicago, 40 min from Milwaukee

Huge picture windows overlooking the Lake, Natural stone fireplace, open concept living and dining room with a side room
1 bedroom queen bed, side room pull out sleeper sofa sleeps 2, small detached bunkhouse with bunk-beds & led smart TV
WiFi & high-speed internet,3 led flat screen smart tv’s, an assortment of books, dvd movies, games.

Beautiful sunrise and moon rise over the shimmering lake
Star gaze far from city lights on the Lakeside patio with fire pit while roasting marshmallows.
Cottage patio with firepit, weber grill we supply charcoal, lighter fluid and split firewood :)

kayaks, canoe and life vests for fun on the water and Sandy Beach.
Bring your fishing pole and try your luck at shore fishing and at nearby Harrington state park
Lot’s of wildlife including Eagles, monarch butterflies crossing the Lake on their annual migration, deer, many birds etc.

The view of Lake Michigan is hands down the best. Alan and Linda were so accommodating and welcoming. The place was cozy and the fireplace with the view made us never want to leave.

A darling, immaculate home! We returned a second time. The views of Lake Michigan are spectacular and the extra touches made it stand out from the others. Snacks, water, bottle of wine, logs for the fire pits and a welcome note. Truly worth every penny. We’ll be back.

We went primarily to enjoy the beach front property and it did not disappoint, the beach was only steps from the home and the sand on the beach was soft and clean with plenty of amenities if you wanted to take advantage of the water. Plenty of seating to enjoy view or fire pit. The home was clean with all the necessary essentials and then some. Wi-Fi was excellent. We would definitely stay there again,

Wonderful long weekend getaway! So many nice touches - fully stocked condiments, snacks, water, and beautiful sea shells all over the property. Our kiddos absolutely loved it.

This is the perfect getaway! The hosts could not have been more accommodating or thoughtful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more! The cottage was very clean and well cared for. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed long walks on the beach, lakeside fires at night, beautiful sunrises in the morning and lots of time to kick back and relax. We enjoyed our stay so much, we hardly ever left the cottage except to go to dinner once and pick up a few items at the local Piggly Wiggly. We would highly recommend this cottage. Alan and Linda are perfect at hosting and so thoughtful in every little and big thing they did to make our stay perfect! We hope to be back again next year!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed this beach cabin. The board games, yard games and beach toys were a huge plus, along with snacks and s’mores supplies provided by the owners. Our 3 boys would rotate sleeping in the little bunkbed house! Everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back.

If you are looking for a place on Lake Michigan to relax and enjoy the lake and beach this is the place! Location is awesome. Home is very comfortable and relaxing and the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Great time at the Lake Cottage! The cottage is clean, fully stocked with amenities and so close to Lake Michigan and the beach. There were a few miles of beach to walk on this summer, and it made for a very relaxing stay. Games, bikes and kayaks at the cottage are very nice! Alan and Linda are the best hosts! Thank you!

Family Time

It was a wonderful 2 days at this beautiful space. Thanks a lot Alan n Linda for all the snacks, water, games and definitely the binoculars. The view from fireplace near the shore was spectacular. We had a fun time playing and kayaking in the lake. We will return for sure. Thanks again..

Serenity at its best

We arrived to a stunning view of the lake. The home was sparkling clean and beautifully appointed. This host thinks of everything: multiple beach chairs, 2 fire pits, games, cable TV, WiFi, movies and snacks. They also provided plentiful bottled water and even wine. They thought of everything! We soaked in the peaceful sounds of the waves and the stunning sunrises. A great respite!

Anniversary Trip to Relax

The house and property were wonderfully relaxing and beautiful. We rode provided bikes to the State Park near by, walked the mere feet to the lake shore, cooked out on the provided grills, and made s’mores on the fire pit. Five Stars!

We had a time to remember and would love to stay again!! The lake gave us unending fun with the tranquility of the waves, long walks on the shoreline finding “sea glass treasures,” paddling kayaks, watching sea gulls and schools of minnows in the water, beautiful moon glows and more! The owner’s are so generous and thoughtful with all of the extras they provide to make the stay relaxing and fun! We feel so blessed! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Absolutely fantastic!!

Relaxing getaway

Just what we wanted, being close to the beach, have a fire going in the fireplace.This was a quick stay just to recharge.Alan & Linda have a wonderful cottage. Snack & water were provided.We took several walks on the beach.Hopefully we can come back this summer!
