1. About Footsteps in SPICA 102
As the building is made of wood, footsteps from the upper floors can be heard. We kindly ask guests staying on the upper floors to walk more quietly than usual, especially during early mornings and late at night.
If you are concerned about noise from above, we recommend considering SPICA 201, 203, 205, or 301. However, if you stay in SPICA 201, 203, or 205 (upper floors), we kindly request that you also walk quietly and keep noise to a minimum.
2. Indoor Footwear
In accordance with Japanese customs, shoes must be removed indoors. During the winter months, the floors can get cold, so we recommend bringing indoor slippers or room shoes for your comfort.
3. Sound from Nearby Nursery School
There is a nursery school next door that operates from around 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. You may hear children singing or crying, particularly in the morning.
4. Consideration for Residents
As there are residents living on the premises, please keep noise to a minimum in the hallways and shared passageways.
5. Linen and Towel Replacement
Please change your own bed linens and towels during your stay. Used items should be placed in the laundry basket located in front of the storage room. We will handle the washing, including bleaching and disinfecting, so there is no need for you to wash them.
6. Room Cleaning
Guests are responsible for cleaning their own rooms during their stay. A vacuum cleaner is available in the storage room. You do not need to clean the room before checking out.
7. Bicycle Use
Two bicycles are available for shared use among guests. (maximum 3 hours use at a time).
8. Cooking Restrictions
Deep-frying is prohibited in the kitchen. Please note that no seasonings are provided. If you purchase seasonings in Japan, we kindly ask that you choose the smallest size possible and use them up during your stay. Any seasonings brought from your home country should also be used up, or taken back with you if any remain.
9. Cosmetics, sprays, and similar items
