Host was excellent. Quick train to Shibuya (20 minutes). Quiet and clean neighborhood. Bed comfy. Perfect for our needs.

Kevin the host was amazing. Always communicating and there when we needed him. The apartment was perfect for my family of 4. The accommodations and having a wash machine were ideal for us since our stay in Japan is close to a month. Highly recommend for families looking for a place to stay that has great accommodations and close to the train station.

A small flat up quite a lot of steep stairs, property served us well for exploring Tokyo on our first visit to Japan. Flat is close to train station and local shops and restaurants. Furnished basically but with all amenities. Loved having a washing machine. Host communicates quickly. Would consider again if we return to Japan in the future.

The house in Tokyo was right in the middle of where we wanted to be! The train station was a 6 minute walk. Convenient stores all around and some great local shops/restaurants as well. We enjoyed our stay in Tokyo and staying at Kevin’s house was amazing!

It was an excellent stay! It was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group of 3 staying for a week. It was also a nice quiet, safe area we stayed in. The host, Kevin, was very welcoming and communication was great with him. He gave us lots of first time info as this was our first time in Japan. It was a great experience overall. Great stay!

This was a 2 bedroom flat that was very comfortable. Perfect for our 16 year old son to have his own space. It was short 2 stop train ride to bustling Ikebukoro.

Wonderful house just outside Tokyo

Kevin was a wonderful host and his house was perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby for dining and shopping. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

Absolutely perfect spot. Quiet neighborhood and very friendly neighbors. Apartment was easy to find and really close to anything you need. There is a 24hr restaurant right by the station that smelled AMAZING about 5 min walk. Jason was great and everything we needed was there. Thank you for a great place!

Easy check-in process, communicative host, and a nice, quiet location. The bathroom was very spacious, and there was just enough room for 4 of us, each with two suitcases. About a 5-6 minute walk from the nearest station, and only 2 stops from Ikebukero but it feels a world away from the hustle and bustle.Overall, a great location. Try to go to Yakiniku Ushioto for dinner early to get some tasty beef barbecue!

Lovely stay

Very quiet neighbourhood with easy access to trains and supermarkets. We stayed with our teenagers and had everything we needed. Host gave great instructions on how to find the house and English was great. Thank you Kevin!

Cozy and a good Home Base

The place was a great set of houses to stay at for our duration. Despite our large group size it didn't detract from how well it helped. During the day we would go out to explore and it was nice to know we had this comfortable abode to return to.

really good!

location is really nice, very quiet neighborhood, away from the busy streets of Tokyo. Kevin was very helpful and it was such a cozy home. Location is also good, 2 stops from Ikebukuro, and the house itself is around 5 minute walk from the station. There are many konbini around too. Really enjoyed our stay! Arigato gozaimasu, Kevin-san!

Perfect place for First Timers

Let me just say wow. This place was absolutely beautiful. It is literally the best place to go as a first time traveling to Japan. Our host was the best at communicating. We were able to get so many recommendations. It was incredible if I could give higher than five stars for each thing I would because it was literally the perfect place to stay and we wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Excellent location

The location of the apartment couldn’t be better. Right on the Ikebukuro line, with access to major lines only a few minutes away. My only criticism is the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Great communication from the host, Kevin. For the price, this place is a winner!

Great location, excellent host

This property was perfect for us (2 adults and 1 teenager). It would have worked well for 4 people, too. The location was easy to get to on public transportation, but in a quiet neighborhood (a nice contrast from some other locations in Tokyo). The host was very helpful and provided a lot of information before we arrived, both about traveling in Japan in general as well as recommendations for local restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay there again.
