The octopus den is excellent for 4 people who get along well. Nice and clean throughout. A couple of items that could be improved, no bathroom soaps or shampoo provided, ensure you have your own, and the shower floor is extremely slick when wet. No blinds on the front windows, it is a great view, but does not get dark until 10 pm. Overall a great place to stay.

I’m sorry to hear our housekeeping missed your toiletries kit — I’ll make sure soap and shampoo are restocked. And we are actually just about to overhaul our supply kit to include more of everything. Thanks also for the feedback on the shower floor and lack of blinds; we’ll review options for a non-slip mat and window coverings to improve nighttime privacy. We’d love to host you again!

The property was excellent. There was plenty of space for all of us, and we liked the simple decor and cleanliness.Two quick notes: (1) the bathroom lock doesn’t “latch”—the lock turns, but you can push the door open and (2) definitely not a dealbreaker, but maybe some simple drapes or shades for when there is too much light/glare? We totally understand not wanting to cover up any view.
