Strawbale Haven Earthen home in Medlow - romantic getaway for nature lovers

The rustic studio has all comforts you need for a weekend getaway or longer stays. The cottage is warm and cosy with a wood fire + heater for those cold nights. Convenient kitchen with cooking facilities if you wish to cook.

Queen bed with a very comfortable mattress for a blissful sleep after a tiring bushwalk or a day about in our lovely mountains villages. Additional blanket.

Medlow is a quiet village offering you peace & tranquility for your stay.

We have a number of birds that visit the garden and it is a lovely spot for bird watching. We also have a fair share of nocturnal visitors - brushtail possums and ringtail possums visit... sometimes they jump on the roof of the Studio, hopefully it adds to the novelty of your experience :)

The space

Our cottage is at the front of the property with driveway access from the street. We will leave the driveway free for you to park your car.

Guest access

Access is via a private pathway along the side (west) of the main dwelling. The studio is located to the rear of our cottage - it is completely private.

Outdoor charcoal barbecue available, can be provided on request.

Minimum wood supplied. Additional wood will be charged extra at $20.00 for a bag.

Outdoor firepit available. Can be activated on request.
