A Jungle Haven with a Thoughtful Host.I spent three peaceful weeks at Casa Zenergy in Herradura — the perfect soft landing for my three-month stay in Costa Rica. Mario is an outstanding host. Before I even arrived, he proactively arranged my transport from Juan Santamaría Airport (SJO) to the property.The sparkling pool is surrounded by a lush, tropical garden alive with the sounds of birdsong. Each morning brought a delightful chorus from Rufous-tailed Hummingbirds to House Wrens.The house is clean, serene, and comfortably equipped — a true sanctuary. Mario checked in just enough: attentive, kind, and never intrusive. We shared laughs and had great conversations; his local tips were invaluable. I always felt safe, welcomed, and at home.Good wifi and AC.Casa Zenergy is more than a vacation rental — it’s a restorative retreat, and Mario makes it feel like family. Ideal for anyone craving peace, privacy, and genuine hospitality.Highly recommended. I’d return in a heartbeat.
