Welcome to this special family home, a comfy and practical base for your Launceston visit. We are honored to be caring for this home while the owners are overseas looking after their elderly parents. The highlight is the kitchen, where you feel like you're living among the trees. It’s a clean, comfortable, no-fuss space with dedicated parking and wifi, perfect for your next trip.
The Space:
This home has a unique warmth because it's a genuine family home. We ask you to make it your own and enjoy the special feeling it offers. The standout feature is the kitchen, where large windows look directly into a canopy of leaves, creating a peaceful treetop atmosphere. It's a lovely spot for a morning cuppa.
As a lived-in home, you'll find it's practical and well-equipped. The layout includes two comfortable queen bedrooms for a good night's rest and a clean, functional bathroom. The living space is cosy and straightforward, with effective heating to keep you warm during the cooler Tassie months.
It’s not a fancy hotel, but it’s a clean, welcoming, and wonderfully located home, ready to be your simple and comfortable base for exploring our beautiful region.

You’ll be within walking distance to the hospital, shops, and parks, while still enjoying quiet streets and a local community feel.
Getting Around:
A car is the best way to explore all that Launceston and Northern Tasmania have to offer. You'll appreciate the convenience of the dedicated, off-street parking space provided with the home.
The area is serviced by local buses that can take you into the city, and ride-sharing services like Uber are also readily available. The CBD is just a short drive away.
Please be aware that the driveway access is quite steep and narrow, making it best suited for small to medium-sized vehicles and those with confident reversing skills, unlike our CEO. There is street parking, but you'll need to be quick to beat the hospital staff.
